Drew brings a mental toughness that we haven’t seen in MANY years

Players take on the personality of the coach, and we need that toughness playing in the SEC and post season.

How many coaches have come to the University of Kentucky having won a NC already? He brings honesty, grit and a coach’s mentality. I’m excited about Coach Drew, if it comes to pass.

He wasn't my first choice, but I can easily get behind him. He's a good recruiter and a good coach. He brings what we're lacking so heavily right now in my opinion, structure.

Does he though? It hasn't really translated to long tournament runs. He's only been marginally better than call the past 3 years. And substantially worse than him the 10 years prior to that.

He has the same tourney record, and is only 2 games off Bill Self's record the past 5 years.

so,tony bennet is mentally tough too with a title. no way i would want that brand of "toughness".

The irony is, that his players would have developed more mental toughness in the SEC tournament and been more prepared for the NCAA tournament.
