Zero-000000 sacks today

I’d save the hand wringing for 0 sacks against SCAR and MSU (ranked 10th and 9th). That would be under performing against weaker competition.
Yeah, but uhh... we've been outsacked 5-13 already against weaker competition (Miami of Ohio, Youngstown, and N. Illinois). That is troubling in and of itself. Any SEC team is better than those teams.

Though, I also agree with the point someone else made about it being an issue with both our OLine and pass rush, probably more the former than the latter. All that being said, our defense overall has been quite solid. Just wish we'd they'd be more focused at the beginning of games. We spotted Miami and N. Illinois 7-0 leads, and Ole Miss a 14-0 lead.

I think both are bad but I also don’t think “net sacks” is an instructive metric. If one side was performing better it would ply obfuscate the bad job being done by the other side.

Suffice to say both total sacks and total sacks allowed are both bad.
