Yes, that's two notches down in a couple of days with the kid from Indiana going pro as well. It's tougher because one new player can start a chain reaction and change all kinds of picks.
There will be more to come that haven't declared yet that will be drafted higher than bam. I hope as many as possible declare because selfishly I want bam back here next yr. with bamba for some unknown reason in love with Texas now bam is a must for next yr, plus he could play the four as Richards could play the five if we don't get bamba

Yeah I don't see allen coming back to Texas he will be a first round pick and unfortunately drafted higher than bam which once again I'm glad. You gotta figure guys like leaf, 3/4 of unc steam and others willl still declare. This draft class is loaded and I would love to have bam back for his sophomore yr as he could play more at the 4 and be a lottery pick in 2018
Maybe I'm wrong but I'd take Bam over Collins. I know yall want Bam back and who wouldn't but yall are forgetting yalls own Kentucky effect!!!! When you play at Kentucky you're already a pro!! I think Collins and TJ Leaf can be nice stretch 4's which is where the game is trending but I think Bam can play true power forward (old school way) and he's a new 5 in today's game with the ability to switch and defend ball screens. Playing at UK is the best preparation for the NBA and the League knows it!! That's why Poytheris(sp), Skal, Ulis, Andrew Harrison, and Liggins are able to play in the League.
Don't think it affects Bam much because most projections already had Collins coming out, so Bam's "stock" will remain where it was.

When you look at the players declared/eligible for this year's draft, there is no way Bam goes in the first round.
That kid got screwed over as bad in title game as we did in first half.

No matter what happens I seriously doubt UK will ever suck as long as Cal's at the helm and yall stay away from the injury bug. Yall are in a no lose situation from my perspective. If Bam comes back I think that helps yall with Bamba but it'll screw Humphries cause he knows he'll be behind both of them. If Bam leaves I think that assures Humphries in coming back which also helps with Bamba cause he wants to play the 4. Now if yall lose both Bam & Humphries then Bamba may have a pause unless Cal can convince him that Richards and SKJ are ready to man the 5. Bamba wants to be AD in 4/5 years and at least play like Cauley-Stein did with yall. If Bamba wants to be a college star I'd tell him to go to Texas but if he wants to be a pro(or any kid for that matter) he needs to go to UK!!!!

I did not. Put Collins on UK's team and Bam on Gonzaga's then what? One game does not a career make. Bam looks much more durable. Collins has 3 inches but is also a lot more fragile. I may be wrong as I am not a basketball anything when it comes to evaluating talent but I take Bam purely for genetics and longevity. Just seems to be a better prospect in the long run...jmuo
The spot was open for Bamba, with or without Allen, as Bamba wants to play the 4 anyway. Shaka could have easily played them together. I think Allen leaving actually hurts Texas with Bamba.

Collins is really good so is bam but Collins is a better player.

Collins will NEVER be mistaken for AD. Sorry to burst a bubble too but Cal is known for preparing players to excel in the NBA. Gonzaga may but at this time they are still more of a wannabe program. They are close but the NBA turnout has not been that stellar....yet.

Zach Collins is an elite offensive player who can still defend at a good enough clip to be a great NBA player. He's got some Paul Gasol in his game.
I think most teams looking at BAMBA most were wanting him to play Center. I think Kentucky has been the school that has told Bamba that they were open to him playing the 4 at Kentucky. This is helping Kentucky with the recruitment of Bamba open to having him playing the 4(PF) position at UK.
This will def knock Gonzaga down a peg next year as well. I figured this kid would come back for another year. Good news tonight for the cats to get one of Bam or Bamba.
