Great news! Stoops and this team have put some wonderful DBs into the NFL.
Purcell is smaller than CBs UK have had in recent years but cover skills and recovery speed makes him elite. Think Brandon Echols, ex-UK CB and current NY Jet. Looks to be very similar. Really nice pick up.
Coaches told him he could play some nickel also. But that outside corner would be his starting point. Will be fun to see Nichols and Purcell together.

If you look at our blue chip recruits, our footprint seems to be getting very big!!
In 8 hours, we’ve pulled in a highly recruited 3 Star OT from Michigan, and 4 Star players from Texas and Bama.
UK is not an Ohio one-trick-pony program!!

I say we take Purcell's high school logo while we are at it. 100% better than ours.
After the two 4 ⭐️ this week we are up to #13 in avg star rating and over 50% in blue chip ratio, which is the standard for making it to the playoffs/national championship contention. Hope they keep this momentum going.
