Stop me if you've heard this one before... A writer goes after Calipari.
This time it's Clay Horning from The Norman Transcript in Oklahoma writing about Calipari telling Trae Young it may be in his best interest to go to a prep school.
I get Horning's point, it's fun to stay and compete on a local level, but his writing sounds very whiny, and selfish. While he's trying to spin it "Calipari is being selfish to the kid and trying to convince him to leave home," he comes off as "I'm being selfish by wanting the kid to ignore what may be best for him for my entertainment."
Thoughts?
