We are legit. Don’t let tonight’s loss fool you into thinking we are not.

We are not elite. Very few teams are, and there may not be one truly Elite team this year.

Road wins are going to be hard to get. That said, I think we win Saturday even though MSU is probably better than UGA.

We didn’t play well tonight. Some of that was on us. Give UGA credit for executing their game plan. Some of it was influenced by officiating. I don’t like blaming the refs, but it seemed like the game was not called evenly. While some say we didn’t match Georgia’s physicality and intensity, to me, it seemed like we were not allowed to. Call it loose or call it close. I just ask that it be called the same at both ends.

I jokingly said before the game that I expected 26 straight wins. Of course I was joking. No one is going to win 26 straight this year. 25 however, we can do that. 😜

This team has several glaring, major, first-weekend-exit issues. We can beat anyone when we are hot from outside, but that’s far more the exception than the norm. Certainly not something you can bank on for 6 games in a row.

I think there is almost no chance we win Saturday. And I’m not usually negative but MSU is a physical tough team also, except much better than UGA. They beat USC by 35, and now I’m watching them blow out Vandy in Nashville. Combine that with their fans being jacked for UK. I hope they don’t run us completely off the court

Don’t like our chances as well.

Outside of Auburn, it looks like SEC teams are losing en masse by double digits on the road. Home court advantage is pivotal in this early going.

After Saturday I don’t believe Ohio State will be our most lopsided loss . And I thought that before tonight’s performance.

11-7 10-8 I’d take the record for this team in the SEC this season. Might struggle to get either

We beat Gonzaga shooting 28% from 3 without our PG. This team can win without getting hot from outside.

No team is winning being on the wrong end of an uneven officiating crew unless your so hot from the field you can make up for all the lost possessions and extras for the other team.

Saturday is a gut check game.
If we just lay down and take an ass whipping after tonight's fiasco, the team has major issues.

SEC teams are 135-5 at home after tonight.

SEC is 10-3 at home in conference play so far.

Interesting note, Vandy has one of the three road wins and also has one of the three home losses.

Auburn is the best team in the country and barely beat Texas on the road. Texas is suppose to be close to the bottom of the SEC.

SEC is going to be tough on the road. 1-16. Tough to beat at home.

UGA was clearly more aggressive. Usually the more aggressive teams draw a lot of fouls, but shouldn’t they also foul more? That seems like a logical deduction. Aggressive teams foul and draw fouls. They drew a lot of fouls, but somehow played a really clean game on the defensive end. That’s some disciplined playing, if that is the case.

And we can also easily lose to teams with less talent. When playing decent competition, the Zags game seems far more like the outlier when we aren’t shooting well than the norm. And now that other teams have seen that you can simply bully UK around, there’s a pretty clear blueprint on how to beat us.

We are legit. Mediocre teams don’t win on the road against ranked teams.

Still not elite. When we went up by 14, MSU stepped up their intensity, and we didn’t match it. Once they completed the comeback, then we made our move. An elite team doesn’t let them back in.

Refs sucked again. We overcame it.

Ansley Almonar gave us some huge points.

Jaxson Robinson gave us a great effort. I would like to see that from him consistently.

Brea didn’t give us a lot in the stats, but the attention he draws opens things up for others.

I love our Cats!!!!!

Didn't play well? They shot like 50% from the three-point line.
I think they did everything they could to win that freaking game and didn't have much left.
If they had lost this game it would have been a back breaker because they gave it all they had. They hit 16 freaking threes and needed just about every one of them but ONE.
Kentucky could have only missed one of those threes and still won this game.
They played well. Other team was just playing at home and didn't give up and had only lost one damn game all year. There's a confidence you're going to win and Kentucky had to break that confidence with 16 threes.

16-32 will win you just about every game you play. If you go 16 for 32 in every tournament game you're the national champion easily probably.
