Overall, his career stats are pretty average. He has a 15.8 career PER, and his 61.5 WS puts him well outside of bounds there. His overall shooting wasn't good, he missed a lot of games (he started out strong but he's only averaged 59 games/season for his career), and he turned the ball over a lot. Sometime he seemed like a team leader, and at other times like a disruption. He had half a dozen or so really good, well-decorated seasons though, and some unique and notable accomplishments:

His main stake is of course his passing. In career assists, he's currently 14th (7,542). It's possible that he can pass Rod Strickland (7,987) but I doubt that he can pass Andre Miller (8,524).

In five or six seasons, probably still years before Rondo's eligible for the Hall, it's likely that he'll fall behind Harden (6,177, 32 years old) and Lowry (6,359, 35). Curry (5,326, 33) will probably pass him too, and Wall (5,557, 31), Lillard (4,736, 31), and Holiday (5,225, 31) could all possibly pass him as well (I doubt all three will but it could happen).
After possibly Harden, Lowry, Curry, Wall, Lillard, and/or Holiday, though, it's going to be a while before we see another player get to 7,000 career assists (Jokic?), so it's doubtful that Rondo's going to fall out of the top 20 in career assists for at the very least a decade, and possibly much longer.
In career playoffs assists, Rondo's currently 6th, with 1,136.

Chris Paul is 7th with 1,073, Westbrook is 21st at 847, Harden is 27th at 819, Curry is 34th at 704. It's likely that all will have passed Rondo by the time he's eligible for the Hall.
