I know it would never happen, but he might fill a void at the SF position.

Wiltjer isn't going anywhere. He is an all American, playing in a system that utilizes his shooting ability and accepts his limitations (real and self-imposed). All he would ever try to do here was stand outside and jack up 3's. He had some good post moves, but this part of his game he would never try to take advantage of here.
My thinking exactly!Wiltjer is an All-American. Posters on this board may not think that Wiltjer deserves to be an A-A, but Wiltjer is an All-American. That's a fact. How do we let an All-American get away? Was it because we couldn't coach him? Was it because we were unwilling to allow a scheme of play that was to his strengths? I don't know. All I know is that Wiltjer is now an All-American, and we let him go.

I think that has squat to do with 2015. Obviously a much better player at Gonzaga.Did you watch Wiltjer play during the 2013 season at all?
36% from 3
4 rebs/game
10 pts/game
1.5 assists/game
But the most obvious part doesn't show up in the stat sheet. The is how opposing teams went at Wiltjer nearly EVERY single play because he couldn't defend at all...Combine that with his conditioning that was subpar at best which contributed to only 23 minutes a game when he was considered a primary offensive threat on a team that struggled to score.
With that being said, the Wiltjer transfer obviously benefited both parties and I wish him the best.

And he left for the right reasons, he didn't fit what we were doing, it happens.Wiltjer is an All-American. I needed a good laugh today. ThanksNo need, Willis > Wiltjer imo
if peeing your pants was cool, then consider kyle wiltjer miles davisArtist's rendering of Kyle Wiltjer showing up to the Craft Center on his first day as a graduate transfer.
I needed a good laugh today. Thanks
I'm not certain Willis can get it done in Cal's system but I'd rather hope that he can than know that Wiltjer can't.
lol my bad
Willis (will/can be) > Wiltjer while at UK
You don't think thats a possibility?
Lol at everyone saying no. You guys are saying you wouldn't want an All-American on our team? I understand he has limitations and might not totally fit out style, but come on now.
