After yesterday guess what’s #1.
We had less talent than WKU. That entire season was a throwaway. If they're talking about sc I don't get it. They're a bowl eligible team with our same record and we played without our leader who we replaced with a first time starter
The blowout loss to western was much worse
His best win is probably 2018 Florida, who ended up winning the Peach Bowl and finishing the season ranked 6th/7thWorst loss? Yes.
But ask yourselves this: what is Stoops best win?
Damn, that game was a freaking nightmare for anybody and everybody who played for, or cheered for for, our Kentucky Wildcats.Southern Miss game came to mind, you get up 35-10 on ANYBODY on your home field, much less a non P5 team, it was beyond belief we lost that game.
And the program was nothing before Mark Stoops arrived. And just think of the near losses..
It's amazing how high some got on stoopid
That was the game where Stoops showed his true colors about offense. We scored too fast.Southern Miss game came to mind, you get up 35-10 on ANYBODY on your home field, much less a non P5 team, it was beyond belief we lost that game.
Y'all forgetting the loss to WKU?
Agreed...we had nothing to play for Stoops first year, no bowl was ever going to happen, it was on neutral field, etc..That was his first game as head coach, and Joker left Stoops with ZERO, UK went 2-10 that year, was not even in the top 10 worst losses of his career.
Fair point, I think when discussing Stoop's tenure at UK you have to divide his first 5 years with the last 5. Sure there have been major potholes along the way, but overall it is hard to imagine that someone who would have stayed 10 years could have done better. That was his first game as head coach, and Joker left Stoops with ZERO, UK went 2-10 that year, was not even in the top 10 worst losses of his career.
