Highly recommend it if you’re not watching it already. It’s on Fox and Fox Sports. Game between Mexico and Colombia felt like a playoff game. Plus you have the added element of playing for your country. In years past it always struck me as a contrived thing but I actually watched it and I’ll be tuned in going forward.

Watched USA beat Great Britain 6-2. Wainright went 4 innings with 1 run, Schwarber with a 3-run home run. Arenado 3 hits, 2 doubles, 2 RBIs & 3 runs scored. USA vs Mexico at 10 PM should be fun! Liked the exhibition games playing against other MLB teams. Was odd to see Trout facing the Angels. Watched Venezuela knock off the Dominican Republic. Playing together for their country brings a lot of pride and camaraderie. playing with their countrymen. The Reds have Alexis Diaz, Luis Cessa, Revier Sanmartin, Ian Gibaut & Fernando Cruz among multiple minor leaguers in the organization participating in the WBC.

I watched Venezuela - DR yesterday too and was glued to my seat in a game that ended 5-1. Atmosphere was out of this world- those fans really love baseball. I’m glad someone else is enjoying it.

It's fun to see some of the older players that haven't played in MLB for a few years or at the end of their careers for a mix of different players along with current stars and team's prospects participate in the World Baseball Classic. Gets much better representation than baseball in the Summer Olympics taking place during the MLB season.

Mexico beat the US 11-5, US was never really in it. Joey Meneses 2 home runs, Arozarena & Rowdy Tellez did most of the damage for Mexico.

Back in the win column, 12-1 over Canada 9 runs in the 1st inning. Puerto Rico with a walk-off/perfect game over Israel.

Japan is 4-0 and the only country to have won the WBC twice since they started playing it in 2006.

This tournament has been a blast to watch. Really exciting high stakes baseball in March. Trea Turner brought my entire family out of their seats with the big grand slam.

Hopefully the USA can find a way to win 2 more.

Highly recommend watching US- Cuba tonight if you want to get your mind off hoops. It’s a game with a lot of storylines beyond the field, being held in Miami with the a big Cuban expat population. Probably will be protests against the Cuban Communist regime along with a meaningful baseball game.

US bats were cooking against Cuba tonight. They'll await the winner of Japan-Mexico. I have to say I've really enjoyed this tournament.

Japan is 4-0 and the only country to have won the WBC twice since they started playing it in 2006.

Make that 3 for Japan. 3-2 over USA. Ohtani on the mound for a save striking out Mike Trout for the final out.
