Wonder how Woo's visit went ? Is this the first KY v Lville instate battle since Brohm came back ?

Pushup,
What are you guys hearing?
Thanks.
Not sure who mentioned it, but apparently Spencer’s Dad is a UofL fan. Lackford thought he would commit to UK after Spencer’s great recent visit to Lex, but that was before he scheduled the official visit to Louisville. So we’re back to this being a toss up.

Why are you acting like the UL visit the coming weekend is a shocking breaking news of this afternoon. it was scheduled weeks ago!

Kind of pathetic spin to counter the UK expert predictions.

Scheduled, yes. But the expectation was that he would cancel that visit after his visit with UK, not confirm it.

What is it about Louisville prospects moving to Southern Indiana HSs? Goodwin did the same thing after leaving Ballard.

I say probably will be Louisville - last visit - make it look like UK had him but Louisville stole him

Makes sense. That is always a concern. You want to be early so that the player may cancel the rest. But, being later, when confirmed, is a good position, too.

Works in our advantage that Vince has had a relationship with him for a while. Was Brohm recruiting him to Purdue? Maybe not if there were academic concerns

I don‘t think that Purdue had much interest because they had a verbal commit from Kendrick Gilbert from Indianapolis. It appears that Lackford has decided to switch his forecast for Spencer to UofL. Three of four publishers/analysts are still predicting Spencer to UK.

Good point. The Lackford switch is probably good news for us

Was just a joke on him making two or three big predictions this off-season and all of them being wrong. So if everyone but him thinks it’s UK, we’re in a good spot
This... ESQUIRE is a douche if he hits 1 out of 10 he's on a roll.

Unless things have changed pretty sure we were recruiting Spencer as an OG, not sure if UofL wants him on the Oline or DT. May come down to his preference on where he wants to play in college.

The mature thought process should be 'where can I be best prepared to have a chance to do well in the pro's."? Better coaching, playing with and against more pro's in college. But could very well pick where his dad or trainer wants him to go or maybe a position thing. Will pick between UK, UL and MI ST on February 1st.

Said to be pretty much college ready physically with his body build, strength and quickness. Can play either side of line because of that. Good chance of making it in the pro's in the right program. Quick off the ball and can drive defenders or blockers back with his power.

You’re exactly right that’s what prospect should do. Reminds me of Justin Rogers. The biggest programs wanted him on offense but he insisted on defense and we recruited him for defense. It was a good move by us to get him here, but if the top coaches thought he’d be best on O then he should have listened.
