Will Stoops be here next year?

Our fans are ignorant plain and simple. They get so emotional over the games that they can’t form a logical and rational thought. No one is happy about losing but the majority of the fans here taking extreme stances are just pea brained simple thinkers. Just dumb and they can’t help it.

If you feel offended by that then you are exactly who I’m referring to.

Absolutely nailed it!

They just said on the postgame show that this KY team has allowed 25 sacks and that’s the most allowed by any SEC team in the last 15 years. This O LINE is absolutely horrible. How did it get this bad?
This in my mind is the problem right now. The OL is not playing like they have in years past. This is the major problem right now. We have a great QB , great RB and some very good young receivers so that only leaves the OL that is to blame.

I’m hoping so, but he may feel he’s reached a ceiling at UK. UK is always going to be behind other top level SEC schools in recruiting, the Usage of NIL seems to be tight, and the National perception will always be UK is a basketball school.
If there is a "ceiling" at UK ... it's just an attitude or belief. If that type of "stinkin' thinkin" doesn't stop then and only then may you be right. UK isn't the problem ... it's in the Administration and the Coaching staff. I honestly believe Stoops may have reached his peak with regard to his attitudinal beliefs and I fear he could easily find contentment in doing "just enough" to keep the wolves at arm's length. These coaches don't seem to have a fire about them that they can translate to the players. UK has no ceiling ... the mindset of those in control of the Program will always be the problem and they themselves are the limitation. Fans who buy into the belief that things will never change also contribute to UK never improving. Fans must think and believe differently and demand better people in positions to make a difference. JMO and offered with respect.

Do not shit talk Will Levis for sitting out last night, and I’ll just leave it at that.
If I ‘knew’ Levis could have played, even at 50%, I’d be shit talking him a lot. If he’s hurt so bad he can’t go then I get it. So far we don’t know for sure. I will be happy to shit talk a player that we need if he’s capable and I’ll just leave it at that.

That’s just it. You don’t know and why would you? Btw the coaching staffs owes you nothing.

common sense tells you that if he can’t play then it’s for damn good reasons. He must not have been cleared or he wasn’t healthy enough to go

You’re exactly right. Things in sports and life in general have changed so much you don’t seem to get info and I understand that. But 2 + 2 isn’t adding up to 4 here and I guess you just have to trust he was unable to go.

And in the next few weeks I think you can add secondary to the list.

It seems that many UK fans have become what John L Smith chided UofL fans for when he left for Mich St, delusional. He said that UofL fans thought that because they were ranked in the top 20 that UofL was a top 20 program and they failed to realize they got their by beating a bunch if bad teams.
Most UK fans, myself included, bought into the mindset that UK had reached the point of being a successful program in the SEC because we've had s few successful years . We ignored the fact that Tenn, Fla and S. CAROLINA were really bad the last few years and just assumed we would continue to rise. Stoops had had success and that shouldn't be forgotten but we are not a successful SEC program. That requires a total buy in from the AD and administration at the university and I've not seem evidence the Barnhart and Capiluto are committed to backing NIL and facility enhancements to allow the football team to continually rise. Didnt we lose a top recruiting coach to Mich not long ago because we refused to pay him? You don't see that lack of commitment at most SEC schools.
I appreciate Stoops but I'm not blind to his faults and I don't think he has even the slightest fear that his bosses will hold him accountable for poor performance. Until the powers that be decide they want UK to be a successful SEC program I'm afraid we have hit our ceiling

What is it that you’re struggling with? You think levis faked his injury? You think he got suspended or something?

Not speaking for him, but he seemed fine at the end of Ol Miss. may have hurt himself on the last play though.

I’m not a conspiracy theory sort of person. Quite the opposite actually. But …. I’ve watched WL darn near run through brick walls. He just refuses to fail. One of the toughest competitors I’ve seen. He almost got his finger torn off against Ole Miss and he fought soooo hard. He single handedly destroyed UL last year and had fire in his eyes. Hell, he’s my avatar. As you said, he very well may be hurt too bad to play (now Stoops said he may not even play next week). This has just been an odd / bad two weeks. We’re in real trouble now.

I made my annual trip to Lexington for the Keeneland Friday, football Saturday weekend. Great day at Keeneland. Great weather. Hit a couple races for enough to pay for dinner for eight at Malones. Tailgated all day today in beautiful weather. The game sucked. We didn't come to play. Having said that, reading on here and listening to the post game show, the vocal portion of our fans suck worse than our team.
That's why I waited a day before reading. Knew the crybabies would be out in full force. For perspective, I was very disappointed in our play, but dealing with the medical issues I have makes me realize how unimportant beyond entertainment football is.

Stoops is rhe best coach we've had in ages. Does he have some blemishes? Sure. Should he be fired? No way in hell. He runs a clean program. He's not an asshole like other coaches you win at all cost guys want. We lost a lot off last year's team. Get over it.

You seem to think something is afoot. Sometimes players just get hurt. I don’t know. I’m not in the room. But I have no reason not to believe the injury report.
