I’m hoping so, but he may feel he’s reached a ceiling at UK. UK is always going to be behind other top level SEC schools in recruiting, the Usage of NIL seems to be tight, and the National perception will always be UK is a basketball school.

Expand on the NIL being tight?

Maybe, but this game didn't have anything to do with any of the things you listed.

Might as well ask if he's already agreed to a deal somewhere else after the season is over. I don't know what has happened but this team looks lost and undisciplined, and thats a top down issue. What is going on that they lose 2 games like this? What has happened that we DON'T know about?

Prolly won’t be able to get any more 1.5m payments for his players who stop playing, so I doubt it

We aren’t good? Beating a so-so Florida team drew people off the trail.

Only bad decision was not playing Will Levis tonight. Now, the entire team is demoralized after back to back losses. You absolutely play your star QB after a loss like last weekend.

Stoops has done all he can do here.... this year was his big chance and he shit the bed.... I don't see the stars aligning like this again for him.... he ain't getting any younger

Won’t be surprised at surprised at all if he leaves. Levis gone, disappointing season and Calipari’s comment.

Theyll be busting the door down for a coach that can make adjustments, import and export different personnel, anticipate the opposing strategy and handle the delegation of decision making to the ableist thinkers just like we did tonight. I’m pretty sure he’ll be at Alabama before we know it. (And by the way I love the dude, I just don’t get these pearl clutching posts).

Until Stoops realizes that the cfb world doesn't rise and set with defense, his feet are going to be stuck in the mud. Score 30+ pts. or be on the wrong side of the w/L record in the sec.

He's not good enough for a bigger job then a small SEC school. Kentucky isn't a big school/job but they do play in the SEC. He's not foolish to leave. The question becomes should UK move on from him.

Stoops is here for the long run. He knows they need to fix a few things. The challenge is to fix those things and not drop off in other places. Like fixing the secondary but slacking on oline. Our ST are horrid too. Fix it all man.

They just said on the postgame show that this KY team has allowed 25 sacks and that’s the most allowed by any SEC team in the last 15 years. This O LINE is absolutely horrible. How did it get this bad?
Last years offensive line coach didn’t rotate any guys in to get game reps

I made my annual trip to Lexington for the Keeneland Friday, football Saturday weekend. Great day at Keeneland. Great weather. Hit a couple races for enough to pay for dinner for eight at Malones. Tailgated all day today in beautiful weather. The game sucked. We didn't come to play. Having said that, reading on here and listening to the post game show, the vocal portion of our fans suck worse than our team.

I’m getting tired of hearing this in general.
1) We still barely rotate on the OL this year
2) Maybe these guys just weren’t that good, so that’s why he didn’t rotate them. What have we seen this year that makes us think any of these dudes deserved to see the field more than they do?

Where would he go and why would he leave UK? He has the best job in the entire country. People want to build a statue for a guy with a .538 winning percentage. He’s done great things here getting us to this level, but he’ll never be asked to do more. Why would he leave for a job where 9-3 gets him fired?

Why ask this tonight after a tough loss? Like what is going through your head to pose this question? You thinking maybe another school really wants him extra bad tonight after a loss? Maybe you are thinking he just wants to quit because this is too hard. Or perhaps you are wondering if Mitch is gonna fire him maybe? Or are you just desperately unhappy and you really hope someone will introduce an angle that made rid you of your stoops suffering. It’s that one isn’t it?

I don’t think our fans understand this. Stoops has NEVER been offered a better job than UK. Never.

Iowa isn’t hiring him.

He is not a good field coach and his personal decisions are head scratching. He’s an old school 90’s defensive guy without an offensive strategy. Nobody wants that today. Even Tennessee moved away from it.

I don’t know why so many act like Stoops is highly sought after. He’s not.

Barnhart isn’t interested in competing for the east. He’s interested in doing things the “right way” which means a middling team without a chance to compete for a championship. That’s what we are. If you want to watch a UK team compete for a chance at a title, it was is and appears to always be basketball. I don’t like it, but you’ve got to face realization. If you want that to change, then pray for a new AD.

Just a few weeks ago people were discussing the playoffs and beating Georgia and now people are willing to pack Stoops bags. We got some bipolar fans in Kentucky. Stoops has more wins than any coach ever at UK, I say we keep him. I’m more bothered about the first round QB that was out with an ouchie on his toe that just got 1.5 million reasons to lead his team after a loss.
