I agree with you on that. The bracket was not balanced. Its just that many on here think it is somehow Mitch's fault.

Yes. What else is he gonna say? As a member of the committee he is not gonna come out and blast it. All he is gonna do by doing that is make fans happy and do nothibg for the university or its public relations.

As has been said before, C.M. Newton had influence and power within the NCAA AND when he was on the committee(check UK's draw when he was on there and UK was very high seed - very favorable draws for the most part).

Mitch B is a ghost when it comes to those qualities - instead he acts like he's just another random, run-of-the-mill AD rather than a guy who's basketball program is the traditional greatest(and current bell-weather)in all of college basketball history. IMO.

MB had to leave the room when UK was being discussed for the tourney so not much he could say about the draw even if he didn't like it.However he can do something about Higgins being involved with any future UK game by asking the NCAA not to allow him to officiate any UK game including NCAA games.Most in the media will assume UK is whining and bitching about officials but most already loathe us anyway so what difference does it make if we request Higgins to be banned from our games.The NCAA likely wont have him officiate any UK games anyway because he has been exposed but asking him to be banned from UK games should be done.

Thank you. I don't know if this is still in the rules, but once you were able to do just for 3 refs per year. Cal just decided not to execise this option. This has been Cal's choice as far as I know.

I'm not self loathing. Pretty content in my own skin actually. I simply disagree with some ideas here. You and everbody else have a right to your opinions. I'm not gonna tell you to piss off because we disagree. We are both UK fans and that is a brotherhood to me. Have a great night.

I will never understand the hate for our AD. The trajectory of all UKs sports programs is collectively the best its ever been. Yet they majority aren't happy with him.
