Why No Home and Home w/Duke?

Tournament games are played on neutral courts.

While it would be nice to see big time match ups like this at Rupp I'm just not sure teams really view it as a benefit at all.

Seems like most are moving away from home and home series.

Hard to say. I struggle with why we win at home so much.. It's either having an entire starting 5 that's going to the NBA, or Gramps in the stands waving a blue flag before he falls asleep by the 2nd TV timeout.

What's sad, is that's the 2nd time in a week I had to sarcastically post such a thing (spoiler: it's not a family with 6 kids in the stands that's getting us wins).

Kentucky is probably 80% winning percentage on Neutral sites, and that's WITH tournament competition 100x better than the cupcakes and weak-SEC teams we play at home.

Do people really think our winning percentage is due to Rupp Arena?
I hear what you're saying...but since it's opening in 1976 Rupp Arena has given us the highest winning percentage of any college basketball venue in the country including Phog Allen and Cameron Indoor which are 2nd and 3rd in winning percentage. We have had 6 coaches in that span Hall, Sutton, Pitino, Smith, Gillispie and Calipari. It's hard to argue that the building hasn't provided a nice advantage for us. We didn't have this high quality of players during the other 5 coaches tenures. I do think the sheer size of the place intimidates some teams and players.

Not directly related to the thread, but Duke related so I just thought I'd post this here instead of starting a senseless thread.

Really like how ESPN baited people on their website with the "Is Grayson Allen the next white hated player" clip
--makes it sound like he's kinda dirty, when really it's all of his wonderful highlights of the season so far.
--why didn't they show UK blocking his $hit every time he attempted to score? I think I know.

As much as I've railed against our out of conference schedule in football it's still not possible to play everybody. I'd love to play home and homes against all of these teams.

Louisville
North Carolina
Duke
Arizona
UCLA
Syracuse
Kansas
Texas
Michigan State
Ohio State
Xavier
Butler
Wichita State

It's just impossible to play them all.
And yes, I left Indiana off there for a reason.
