Why is the game so Early

There's an NFL game on ESPN at 4:30pm so they shifted the college basketball schedule up one hour to give them time for a pregame show and to ensure the games are over before the NFL game starts.

Because there are a lot of stupid people in positions they shouldn’t be in.

Nobody likes playing basketball that early that I ever seen. Not even sure it’s even legitimately fair to both sides. Hell, prolly ain’t even got the sleepy outta the eyes.

It's not stupid people, it's the NFL. If you're ESPN and you need to broadcast two college basketball games, and an NFL pregame show all before a 4:30pm NFL game what time would you start the first basketball game? It can't be noon, that's for sure.

If the decision is NFL or college basketball the decision will always be NFL. Too many fans do not realize that the majority of people only watch CBB during March Madness

The blue hairs will be full of energy. They have been up since 4 AM. Prepare for the whole arena to be standing the entire game.

We have played 12 noon games lots of times. Why is this one hour early such a huge issue for people?
I kind of like it. A lot of people are up and working hard way before 11 am, don’t see why it would be an issue for some college kids to get up and play some ball

We should take this one step further.

You know how in the past ESPN used to have that thing 24 hours of basketball at the beginning of some seasons........they should do that but for the entire season lol.
