Why is the Bengals OL worse this year?

I agree completely
Throwing more money at the problem isn't going to change things. Can't do anything now about the fact they hardly touched the field together in the preseason. It's going to take time for the unit to gel and impatience isn't going to speed the process up.

Gotta steal two out of three between Buffalo, Kansas City, and Tampa Bay. Should be sitting at 6-4 after beating Mitch Trubisky in Pittsburgh, whatever happens after that who knows.

I fully believe things will balance itself out and Cincinnati will be one of those teams in the 2nd half you don't want to face. They'll win 1 or 2 games they weren't favored. The team is just way too talented for the wheels to completely fall off.

Clearly I did as you've gone as far as saying they were a fluke last year and going to lengths to disparage them while ignoring the fact the time Joe Burrow was forced to miss a lot of time with the appendectomy.
He was more of a question mark last year than this year. Coming off a major knee injury and surgery.

Burrow does not trust his O line. You can tell in how he is playing and how Taylor is play calling.

You can get bent at me if you want. Fact is, they have looked awful 2 games in a row against teams they were favored over. Pittsburgh is not very good and have a very suspect QB and O line. Cincy did nothing to take advantage of that on defense. Same thing with Dallas.

Offense is avg around 18 points a game. That is pathetic considering the talent they have. As of right now, last year looks like a fluke unless some major improvements happen very soon.

You're full of shit if you think Pittsburgh and Dallas have an awful defense that did not factor into the offensive's struggles and that's all there is too it. Burrow had longer to recover from the ACL injury than the late July appendectomy and frankly shocked he was out there by Week 1. You say last year was a fluke but this year's team is too talented to struggle like this. 2 contradicting statements. As I said earlier, it fits your narrative for them to lose and look awful by continuing to down play any accomplishments from last season. Lets blow it all up and rebuild once again.

No shit there isn't chemistry between Burrow and the O-Line yet just 2 games in, little preseason action with Burrow missing a huge chunk of time. Like I said above, impatience isn't going to speed it up. Tearing it down now isn't going to save the season nor is firing Zac Taylor. 3 games from the Super Bowl and you all want to put him on the chopping block. This is the kind of logic that will set this franchise back another 10 years.

Sure don't handle opposing views well.

Take off your orange glasses bub. All you want to do is get mad at me. 0-2 should have you upset but you're making excuses like you're Taylor's family.

Teams have figured out Taylor's offense and he hasn't adapted. His play calling was bad last year. The Bengals don't have a pass play over 25 yards this year in 2 games.

Of course their is talent on this team. Talent alone doesn't win in this league. Scheme and execution do. Neither is happening yet.

They can't run it and they can't protect long enough to throw it. They better fix things quick because there's blood in the water and the NFL is full of sharks.

All you have done is demean this team letting your negativity get in the way of reality of a young QB with less than 2 full years of playing experience coming off a run to the SB who happened to miss the preseason during a crucial time to build chemistry with a new offensive line. Call it excuses all you want but it's reality. I had knots in my stomach the moment I heard the news of a late summer surgery that would force Burrow to be out awhile so a slow start doesn't surprise me nor should it anyone.

People like you want to implode the team after a run to the Super Bowl. I would say they executed quite well to sweep the AFC North and get to the Super Bowl last year. Yet the sky is falling after two games. Don't misconstrue my posts, I said 0-2 sucks but to suggest firing the head coach this early is lunacy. Fire him and get another Marvin Lewis. Get real dude. You all are so predictable, if you don't agree with me you must be one of the family. I suppose should the Bengals get it together and go on a playoff run it will be crickets from you so be miserable all year. The future is bright in Cincinnati.

Some of the stuff they're getting beat on isn't just needing to gel. Dudes are getting owned one on one on LOS. Carras and Kappa both defended Tom Brady in Super Bowls. Is it Frank Pollack? Maybe he can't develop line talent

How long you been a fan? Since last year? Last year is over. Nothing from last year helps them this year.

They have a grown man schedule coming up. Everybody knows who they are.
Everybody knows what they run. Taylor's play calling is so weak and predictable. O line has Burrow gun shy. No running game. And you're crying about what I said.

0-2 is reality. Lots of issues to fix. No excuse for their performances so far. If Burrow isn't ready, he shouldn't be out there until he is. He said he was ready to go. I believe him. Guy is tough as they come. Something is off with him and the whole team.

It's real simple for next game. Win or start looking at the draft for help. 0-3 definitely ends it.

I started being a fan last night....

Man the Bills look good. Titans gifted them a couple of TDs though.

Allen is the early leader in the clubhouse for league MVP.

Hope Zac Taylor was watching and took notes.
