Why is the Bengals OL worse this year?

Will take time communication-wise but a lot is on Burrow and WRs. You have to balance out your signings, you don’t want your whole OL fat, content, and married with children. You have to have a couple single, bad influences on the OL.

Thought for sure after what my Titans pass rush did to them in the AFC championship the big boys up front couldn’t get worse but somehow they did even with those signings. Weird start to the NFL as a whole so maybe they will improve

Better get it together or else WLKY is going to keep showing Lamar and the Ravens over the actual regional teams. Screw them. Cincinnati/Dallas is the national CBS game of the week so we'll see who they put on next Sunday. To hell with Lamar/Baltimore. Indy/Cincinnati/Tennessee should all be shown before them. I remember back 15 years ago on Comcast getting Lexington, Louisville and Bowling Green Stations and saw all 3 nearly every week. In recent years you were lucky to get one and it's whenever Baltimore was in a prime time slot.

It will certainly take time to gel and preseason is where it should happen. This is a team built to win now and the learning curve shouldn't be this drastic after 2 weeks. The preseason is so watered down protecting the stars from injuries before the season starts. Losing to Dallas without Dak is going to haunt later on, especially after the missed opportunities in Week 1 at home vs Pittsburgh.

JFC we are 0-2 v the likes of Mitch Trubisky and Cooper Rush. What in the flying !@#$
Taylor is s huge part of the problem. Whole new O line and not one series or snap together in pre season. He ran a spa resort training camp and it's showing. His play calling is just awful. No creativity or innovation.

Pollak is no better. Talks big but that's all. Burrow is not blameless either. Defense is getting a pass but they've played two subpar QBs and have done nothing.

Season died today. 0-2 in the easy part of the schedule. Very few teams make the playoffs starting like that. This one sure ain't. Lots os primtume games to get embarrassed in as well. The suck is back and strong. They've looked disinterested the first 2 games.

I've seen this movie most of my life. They're done. Taylor is not able to turn it around. Guy couldn't gameplan Mitch Trubisky and Cooper Rush. Gimme a break. He should be gone but it will never happen.

I’ve been a Bengals fan my whole life. I’m frustrated too. We’re not only 0-2. We’re 0-2 vs the two teams I despise the most.

However, we are still the youngest team in the NFL — as we were last year when we were only seconds away from winning the Super Bowl. We’re only one year removed from having lost 27 of 32 games. I’m not panicking yet.

I'm a burrow fan and I have a decent investment in him

I Said it before but that super bowl run while great could be the worst thing to happen to cinci. They thought they were simply a line away when in reality they were a good team that over achieved. Instead of a 2 or 3 year plan to build a monster o line and defense, they went and overpaid a lot of bums. It's the nfl, they don't have learning curves when signing vets. Hopefully they realize they are a TOP TIER o line and some cornerbacks away and make the moves to happen and they don't waste a top notch qb and an amazing receiver.

It's clear the OL signings aren't going to cut it. I get they need time to gel but guys are just getting flat beat.

12 sacks in the first two games. What in the !@$%

Can't stand the two teams they lost in the first 2 games. Ugh.

You better panic. Cause there's reason to do so. Defense is not all that. They get little pressure on the QB. Have faced 2 back ups essentially and have done little or nothing against them.

Burrow is off a lot. Very little training camp for him. O line is just awful. Collins is not all that. Jonah is getting embarrassed. Pollak is a big mouth and little else.

Taylor coaches offense like it's the 50s. No creativity ot innovation. He's not able at this level. Ugly season definitely happening. Same as it ever was. Last year was a fluke.

Been a fan of this franchise for over 40 years. They ain't turning it around. It will unravel quickly.

Had Mike Brown not gone out and spent money on the O-Line, the same people would be bitching and moaning about how he is cheap refusing to spend money to protect your young QB after a run to the Super Bowl. An offensive line takes time to gel as a unit and throwing more money at the problem isn't going to solve anything regardless of experience in a new system, new team. Its unfortunate Burrow missed a lot of training camp but I'm not giving up on this team yet.

Not worried here, everyone in the division lost this week meaning were only one game from being in first place. In hindsight the cat's are 3-0 and hopefully we can get the kink's worked out on the O line and have ourselves a team for the ages.

It might have been a good idea to let them play a few series in pre season to get acclimated to one another. 0-2 usually means no playoffs, and with the schedule they have, I don't see it.

Taylor is not a good play caller. Too predictable. Teams have figured him out and he's not creative enough to adapt.

Too much talent on offense to struggle like they have. Butrow doesn't trust his O line.

I saw something on the NFL network with a bunch of analysts that said the average time it should take a QB to get rid of the ball is 2.5 seconds or somewhere in that neighborhood. Burrows sacks have been 3.5 and 4 seconds. That is on Joe Burrow, not the line. At least not every time.

Tom Brady played in the preseason at the age of 45, but not one of our starters played a snap. Thats a bunch of shit.

Taylor is playing to keep games close and have a chance at the end instead of burying teams, which the Bengals could do with that personnel.

Im not watching this shit all year. Burrow needs to get off his high horse and get back to the Joe before the headlines got so big. I blame him for this start. That last drive that was a 3 and out was a complete joke.

I thought they had no chance last year with the schedule, 6 wins tops and made it to the Super Bowl. Like I said, I'm not giving up on this season yet. 2 weeks in and a lot can happen. The Chiefs looked like shit this time last year and made it to the AFC Championship. The Bengals talent on offense will come around and easily could've been 2-0 as they are 0-2. The Chiefs, Bills, Buccaneers are the only teams at the back end of the schedule that scare me.

Difference being the Chiefs had won a SB and been to 3 straight AFC title games.

0-2 is a big hole. Very few teams recover from that to make the playoffs. Taylor doesn't give me much hope. O line is not at all fixed. Lot more questions than answers.

Burrow is not playing anywhere near like last year. Offense looks disjointed. No flow or identity.

Taylor ran a joke of a training camp and it shows. Football is still football and none of these guys have been ready. Especially the O line.

Taylor is not up to this level. The talent level they have on offense should be killing teams. 40 points in 2 games. Instead they look like they just met. It will unravel more and it will become like most years I've watched this team.

Past accomplishments don't have anything to do with it or the outcome of the game. Just as the city on the front or name on the back of the jersey doesn't guarantee wins.. See the ass whooping the Rams took in Game 1. Cincinnati knocked the same Chiefs with a SB/3 AFC Title game appearances out didn't they? Heaven forbid a guy who had an appendectomy missing training camp has a slow start. I think some of you all want them to lose so that your narrative is right. 0-2 sucks but people saying the Bengals were a fluke last year are hysterical.

By all means lets fire the head coach 2 games into the season who finally broke the Bengals playoff winless streak and 3 games removed from the Super Bowl. No wonder this franchise was a dumpster fire for nearly 30 years.

Trust me, I want them to win. Have ever since I pickem them as my team in the mid 70s. You're mislabeling me for sure.

If they're legit, they're not 0-2 vs two QBs nobody could pick out of a line up.

Taylor coddled them like newborns during training camp and it's showing. 13 sacks in 2 games with their FA new O line is bad. We'll see what Taylor and crew are made of real quick.

Clearly I did as you've gone as far as saying they were a fluke last year and going to lengths to disparage them while ignoring the fact the time Joe Burrow was forced to miss a lot of time with the appendectomy.

From the talking heads here up north states, they don't give burrow enough time to get it down field wich is there strength. Seems about right.
