Who would you pick for UK/Fla this weekend ?

I’m in ESPN college pickem group of 12 with a small amount of money on the line …this is one of the games …I like how Stoops has brought the program forward …how competitive and successful they have been …and with the Cal words has probably added to their edge …Chris Rodriguez is not playing …Gators at home …UF had Star QB play in their home opening win against #7 Utah …Fla breaking in a new coach but at home .

Who would you guys pick ? All I have to do is pick the winner correctly …try not to be biased but objective.

And thanks for any advice …
 
Florida. UK has too many new players to rely on this year and people are going all in on them due to their progress under stoops and having a good QB. Hope UK wins but I don’t see more than 7-8 wins max. At the swamp isn’t one of them. Unpopular take here.

No I appreciate the take …I want all viewpoints before deciding …I like winning these things lol

I agree, unfortunately. I know this isn't our father's UK football team, but this is easily the type of game UK loses 14/15 times. Would absolutely love to see the CATS win it, and this is really their chance to tout #FootballSchool, but I'm just not feeling good about it. I do think it's going to be a close game though, so it really could go either way. Hate to even type this, but the safe pick is Florida.

Florida. Just think with how dynamic their QB is, and with the game being at the swamp, it will be hard to stop them. They shredded one of the better defenses in the country last week. Should be an exciting matchup and a fun one to watch, for sure. Hoping the Cats can get it done, though.

Florida. The reason is not that Rodriguez is out. It's that our lines seem to have both taken a step backwards. We've been competing in the SEC because of our offensive and defensive lines. I'm not convinced yet that either can control the line of scrimmage.

What we can all thank Stoops for is that this can actually even warrant a conversation. We can actually now discuss the REAL possibility of us winning at Florida or Tennessee, etc. It's been a loooong time in coming.

Robinson
Cox
Horsey
Manning
Smoke
CRod (hopefully soon)
Basically the entire D and our kickers.
Very few freshman faces.

Florida. At home. Kentucky without Rodriguez. Kentucky with a subpar offensive line. Florida with a QB that can run and throw. Florida just defeated #7 Utah. All signs point to Florida winning this game, but still rooting for Kentucky to come out of the Swamp with a win.

Fortunately, it appears UFs weakness is their D line.
Plus our QB is pretty damn good too as is our D and ST.
Probably be a low scoring game with alot of rain expected the next few days in Florida.
Gonna be a thriller.
Will be decided by turnovers.

If we had C-Rod I would take us by 2 TDs, but without C-Rod and being a little iffy on the O-Line we’re basically a one dimensional offense instead of the well balanced attack we’d be with C-Rod.

UK has to turn it into a rock fight like last years game with Florida. We can bottle up Richardson far better than Utah did, I’m confident in that, Utah didn’t look like the 7th best team in the country and Florida didn’t look like a team deserving of the 12th ranking they got.

That game could have easily been won by Utah too, Florida fans are convincing themselves it was in hand the whole time and that there was a 2nd dropped interception, but there was also a lot of missed holds, especially on 4th and 3 just before they scored the go ahead touchdown.

Me not considering Utah to be that good, and Florida having plenty of chances to lose that game makes me think we have the edge in a low scoring rock fight, but it only takes one or two blown assignments for Anthony Richardson to score on you.

I would take Kentucky +6 but I wouldn’t bet the Cats to win

I hate to say it, but Florida straight up. In the swamp, O-Line issues, no CRod. I think we can win, and I think it’ll be close, but home field gives them slight edge with no spread. I hope I’m wrong. I hate Florida.

Not a lot of returning starters on O. That’s a problem this early in the year imo
 
Florida. Home nite game. UK relying on freshmen. No C-Rod. UK will be at their best in a few weeks. Need a couple turnovers to upset the Gators IMO.

I agree. This team over rated
 
UK has more depth, better QB, better Defense, better Coach.
UF has home field and revenge factor.
It will come down to a one possession game as UK wins a low scoring game:
21-17
Cats stay on track to win the East, SEC and National Title.

It is really as simple as if our offensive line play was like it was against Miami, the game is not close. If we can block Florida and establish a running game, we win. I don't have confidence we are going to be that much better in a week withouth Horsey stepping in to solidify the line. I hope I am wrong and I could easily be, but I say Florida wins.

2 TD’s at the Swamp? I can tell who doesn’t follow football.
 
With C-Rod out the other running backs better have a good day because we can't just rely on throwing the ball. Would love to see UK win there but I have to take UF in a win.
Don't understand why C-Rod can't play tomorrow and sit out against weaker part of the schedule ?
