Kentucky is in a position where it has to upset Auburn to turn around its season, when they shouldn’t have to at all. But they have to pull off an upset against Auburn to truly turn things around. But you continue to get those shots off Moses, I’m sure cal loves knowing he has you in his corner.

No shit Moses, the point is Kentucky blew opportunities at home, so now they really need to win a game that is damn near impossible to win, that’s the damn point. If they didn’t blow chances to UNCW, Florida, and Gonzaga, all games they should have won, Kentucky would be 20-4 and be in a really good spot even with a likely loss tonight

Exactly. I’ve been watching since 1989. Except for the first year of Pitino and the entire Gillispie era—I never went into any game not believing we couldn’t win. Even in the last two Tubby years, we had Rondo-Crawford-Morris and I convinced myself we could do it (almost did against a stacked UConn team in 2006, a really competitive game that I don’t think about that much due to all the painful Calipari March losses). That all changed in 2020-2021 and it’s truly amazing how much I expect to lose games like the one we’re playing tonight. I’ve already accepted defeat and will be pleasantly surprised if UK wins.

What’s amazing to me is that there is anyone who still supports or takes up for Cal in any way, shape or form.
If they haven’t realized by now that Cal cares absolutely zero about winning games at UK, then they never will. He has stated it publicly years ago and has not wavered once. Draft picks and nights in the green room are FAR more important to him than wins.
He starts guys based on promises made to the top ranked players and Klutch sports. He constantly lies and makes up injuries and sicknesses to cover when his prima donna’s are whining and crying about this or that (Anyone who thinks we’ve really had all the “injuries“ we’ve supposedly had the last three years is just being naive). His substitution patterns are completely ridiculous and are more like running practice sessions than an actual game. He consistently takes guys like Dilly, after 3 or 4 straight baskets, and sits him on the bench. He makes coaching “decisions” that literally can’t be ignored of how stupid they are based off what the correct strategy for actually trying to win the game would be (See a lob play designed when you have 3 of the top rated three point shooters in the country).
Since the wonderful contract Mitch gave him, Cal wants every season over basically as soon as possible so he can go home and pet his dogs and watch Little House on the Prairie.
As I said, people who can’t see all of these obvious signs simply aren’t looking. Our beloved program is being held hostage by a charlatan and a thief and, sadly, it will be burned to the ground I fear before he’s gone.

People that don’t see the obvious don’t really understand the strategy of the many aspects of basketball. Those that do understand that it falls directly on the coach to correct. Having issues this late into the season is proof Cal needs to step away. (Not just this year but the last few years should be proof enough)
