Wright has more notable losses as far as I'm concerned. Self has some bad ones too but tends to get a little farther in the tournament with his losses in the second weekend. Both won their national titles with some lucky threes.
Wright is doing his best to be labeled a choker.
I believe this is the 4th time in 5 years they have been a 1/2 and bounced in second round.

Dumbassedness. I didn't see any choking today. Wisc. got stops and scored every possession down the stretch. The players decided this one.

Take away getting basically every call throughout the tournament last year, including getting the championship handed to them by the refs, and Nova hasn't done shit under Wright.
Yeah..Jay Wright choked his way all the way to the Championship last year..where were our NBA first rounders last year when 'Nova was wining it all? Sitting at home waiting for the tournament to end so they could declare for the draft after getting bounced in the 2nd round by a Tom Crean coached IU team..

With the recruiting success and the number of championships we have had since Cal has been here, they could say that Cal is at the top. However, the tournament is all abiut matchups and we have had our share of bad ones.

True. Ochefu was solid last year and they won it all but otherwise, it's been their Achilles heel. It's a shame Spellman was ruled ineligible for em this year. He would have played a huge role.

It seems that some folks are watching this tournament for the first time. Sixty eight teams, and only one will walk away without a loss. Becoming that one team is really difficult.

Self and it’s not even close. With the talent he’s had and only won a single NCAAT title, and fortunate to win that one if Cal and Memphis make a critical FT or two. Self most overrated coach in D1.
That title came because Cal choked like he has repeatedly here with the 6-7 NBA players every year.
