Did anyone else catch the ESPN graphic about UK's losing streak during the game Saturday night?

Granted I was half asleep and may have saw it wrong but I think they had a graphic showing "What was at stake" and said the Zags had a 3 game losing streak to top 5 opponents and UK had a 5 game losing streak to top 10 opponents. Is their fact checking that horrible or did they just flat out ignore the fact we beat their beloved Duke team 2 weeks ago who was ranked in the top 10 at the time?

When did they show the graphic, I'll watch the replay today

Don't remember the exact time, but I think it was in the second half. I had to check and see if Duke was top ten at the time. Ranked number six at the time.

I like to imagine a Duke fan watching and being mad twice about that graphic. Once for the mistake and once for the loss.

At the end of the game they showed a graphic that read "2nd AP top 10 win under Mark Pope - Joins Adolph Rupp as the only UK coaches to win first 2 vs Top 10 teams", so I guess they didn't completely forget about it

They forgot the Tennessee game in Knoxville last year too. In fact, we were actually on a two game winning streak against top 10 teams (now three). And the more I think about it, wasn't Miami top 10 when they visited Rupp last year? Hell, I believe UNC was top 10 last year when we beat them. I know we lost to Tennessee at Rupp last year between the UNC game and playing Tennessee in Knoxville. Any who, someone shat the bed on that stat.

That's hilarious, you are absolutely right. We have a 3 game winning streak over AP top 10 team going back to last season now. What in the hell lol. And you're also correct about UNC and Miami. We have won 5 of our last 6 against top 10 teams.

Jimmy "The Calimari" Dykes was high af. the whole game. Drunk! Lol.

You can't count the Duke game because the star player is only 17 years old.

I noticed that but the one that got me was the graphic about the age of our last four first round draft picks and putting Shaedon Sharp's mug up there. Guy never played here. Literally to quote Cal, "Haven't seen him". Get that sh*t out of here ESPN.

I notice that too.

But no, there is no ESPN bias towards Duke and against UK. Nope, nothing there says a few people in my other ESPN thread...
This.

Ppl like to discount these things as “bad research mistakes happen”. But when they consistently happen in favor of one program and/or in a negative light for a program…it isn’t innocent mistakes. While debniable plausibility exist, it’s a trend.

Same as Kansas taking the all time wins 2 years ago and we heard about them being the winningest program nonstop by espn every game they played, and most the games they didn’t play in. But we hardly ever hear it mentioned by a non UK broadcast when we’ve held it for almost all of eternity
