They are losing their best players in Martin and Clayton. Also Richard , a starter is gone too. So their entire backcourt. They'll take a step back next year for sure.

Transfer portal changes everything. If Haugh and Condon blow up in the tourney, they might have to take a look at the NBA too. Golden has too good of a thing at Florida. Unless he's like Pitino and Calipari, and decides he wants to try his hand at the NBA. Don't have to deal with the BS that comes with CBB. That's why Billy D left and is happy in the NBA.

At this point, being a college basketball coach is a pretty terrible job. Your entire restore from top to bottom is in flux every single year. Hell, the portal to transfer opens DURING the last part of the season. No salary cap, recruiting, coaching an entirely new team every season...it sounds miserable. I couldn't even imagine replacing my entire staff every year. It would be madness.
