Which would you rather see: AR get run out of the gym OR lose due to a horrible coaching job/decision by Cal?

In a John Calipari CLASSIC,

They were in control for 30+ minutes. They were up double digits with I think less than 10 minutes to go. Cal did his usual brilliant stall ball.

Then, in overtime, Cal had another classic Caliparism save the day. Down 2 with 7 seconds to go, AND A TIMEOUT, he let DJ Wagner casually bring the ball up, and take a step back over a defender.

He didn't call timeout to express the urgency to get the ball up the court. He didn't call a timeout to tell everyone to get the ball to the guy with 30 points, and their best FT shooter, Nelly Davis. He just...let the kids play. Cuz that's what Cal does.
Up 16 with 10 to go.

Look at Cal’s ego oozing in that first pic. When j watched the interview live I said to my buddies what a weird mid game energy he was giving off like he was saying “look at me, see what I done there ” w his mannerisms instead of being dialed in on the task at hand
The absolute best was him having Erin again at the game with Ellen and them panning over to them and they were all smiles and cheers. Then at the end the didn’t go back to them. Real crying ensued I am certain because he blew it again. I’d love to see his girls interviewed again because she was all “I don’t like basketball but I’m a John Calipari fan! “ Like obviously he’s your dad and you want him to win, but it’s just another in a long line of things that seem like it’s Cal University and nothing else to me.

Nah. I want them to lose today but UF has the size and athleticism to negate their penetration and rebound game.

They’d fraud finesse non SEC teams are getting exposed left and right by the SEC. The other conferences idea of “physical” is a softer SEC team. We are as physical as TTU
Shit I'm happy.. Thought I had a bad feeling,, but turnt out needed to poop..

Yup.

And apparently still up 13 with 4:30 to go. John Calipari MASTER class.
That they were, we watched every second in the game thread. Everyone then started to question whether he would get tight and as it started to slip we all knew what was happening. The thing is they hit 3 huge shots Cal teams normally don’t that should have saved them and they still lost.

Both could be the answer but I did put OR in the question.

Just so I don't have to be concerned about them, I think I'd rather see them blown out. But, to have Cal make one more boneheaded decision and cost another team a chance at a FF would be kind of sweet, too.

The last few years of his era, I went from severe dislike to completely loss of interest - could not care less how the team did as I knew his heart wasn't in it anymore and he was just going through the motions. And insulting fans who called his arrogant butt on it.

I like Pope a lot and he has begun the process of rekindling my fanhood for UK BB.
I thought I hated seeing them make it to the S16 but now I see it was great! Now everyone knows, and those that watched, see why UK fans wanted CCC gone. Showed the nation he is a terrible Xs and Os coach and must have the better players to have a CHANCE to win. He will neve even "sniff" another Natty. The college landscape has changed but CCC never will. Remember he's smarter than us beanies.

He had to be trolling. At least that's how I take it. No real UK fan would want Arkansas to win.

There’s a few Cal bois who still root for him despite him coaching a conference rival. I don’t understand it, but the ones saying they’re rooting for Cal were some of his most ardent supporters over the last 3-4 years.

Yep. And the hogs are good boys. They have talent and self playing with a ton of energy on both ends. Gonna be a tough out
So glad to miss this one. Still dont know how they blew that one (well yes I do). Had the size, speed, athleticism advantage and were shooting lights out for a while. Controlled the game. Even had Knox starting to ball out. Everything Tech got looked really hard to do yet they perservered. This one is gonna sting for a long time in Fayetteville.

Erin's the one in the family that I respect. A tenured professor at Vanderbilt med school is nothing to sneeze at. Was she the one who said she didn't like basketball? That seems a little odd since she played at UMass but maybe it was the weight of familial expectation, y'all would know better than me.

You left out the part about no timeout to tell them to quit playing street one on one hero ball and never even considered fouling them to avoid a three point shot to tie.
Cal always zigs when he should zag.
