I think there’s two or maybe three one seeds that could lose in the round of 32.

Duke is the only one who I think is safe.

I could see Creighton and UConn beating Auburn and Florida.

In my bracket, I picked Auburn to lose to Creighton. I also picked UConn to beat Florida but I think that’s more of a stretch than Creighton beating Auburn.

Duke and Houston seem to have the easiest path to an elite 8. I expect both to be in the semis.

But UConn should scare UF today.
Also, AU has been underwhelming.

That would be a neat trick since FL doesn't play today.

I dont see any of them losing this weekend.

Gonzaga against Houston is intriguing. So are the other 3 games but ultimately they all win.

Auburn is gonna have a tough sweet 16 game regardless who wins between Michigan or a and m so I'll say auburn loses first.

UConn is capable of the upset though their guard play is nothing like the past 2 seasons. We need to keep the game moving and not let them slow the game down so much. I would still rather play UConn than Gonzaga who I think will give Houston a fit tonight if not pull the upset.

I think a one seed is going down this weekend. Two possibly even three. Duke is the only one who I think has a cakewalk.

Every one seed should make the final four but this is the tourney and crazy stuff happens. I certainly don’t want UConn to win, I’m just saying they’re UConn so it could happen.

Auburn has been playing awful last 3 weeks. They might’ve peaked too early
+100

When you have tried to "hug" them (Pearl last weekend during the loss in SEC Semifinal) and then ripped them (Steven Pearl ripped Broome/Baker Mazara and he wasn't wrong) you are in trouble. This is the NCAA Tournament. To show how small a margin is....if Auburn can win today-they'd be in Atlanta and think that would be a huge boost for their chances to make the Final Four. But can they get there?

Duke shouldn't be challenged until the Elite 8 with the bracket they received which was more like the #1 overall than what Auburn was given.

Houston is playing really strong basketball right now. I think their guards will eat up Zags guards today--Hickman is a gutless no show and one of the most forgettable and thankfully "almost" Cats ever.

UF is really good. When you have Commentators picking them apart for not sustaining a 31 pt lead when they had the most impressive 18 mins of basketball in the Tournament is a good thing. Golden will have their attention. UConn in name is scary....but the matchup is brutal for UConn. Seeing just how outclassed they were athletically last night against Oklahoma was eye opening. The Sooners had a chance but literally missed 6 layups that were wide open and then their best player didn't have the ball when game was tied down the stretch. UConn's only chance is that Ball/Karaban/McNeeley have lights out shooting in the same game and McNeeley has been awful for the past 3 weeks shooting the ball. Ball will have to defend on the other end and Karaban has had a lousy JR year. Reed/Johnson are a great duo to compete with UF--but the mismatch is Clayton and Crew vs a severely limited/injured Diarra and Mahaney is unplayable as witnessed in the 2nd Half against OU where UConn banished him to the bench.

Auburn has lost 3 of their last 5. I heard Charles poo-pooing that info in the studio, by saying they played good teams. I'm sorry but there shouldn't be enough teams out there to beat the overall 1 seed 3 out of 5. They backed in.

Diarra is injured and hanging by a thread. Mahaney can't play at this level and Hurley's trying to coax something out of a colossal recruiting mistake. Just happy UK "lost" that recruiting battle. He's unfit to play at the Power Conference level as a PG and he's unplayable defensively. UF guards should get wherever they want and decide the game. Can see UConn toughness/heart keeping it close for a Half and then giving into the fact they are just not deep/good enough this year.

Watching them get run at MSG by St. John's was one thing-but UF has size that can negate their strength (Reed/Johnson) and really that's their reliance this year outside of Ball being a sniper. Karaban/McNeeley havne't been consistent from outside and right now McNeeley has been terrible shooting the ball.

Creighton is a dangerous team and Auburn has been sputtering
Kalkbrenner has never fouled out of a game--and he can negate whatever it is that Johni Broome actually does. I think Broome is one of the worst SEC POY ever. He's "too cool" far too often and was nice to hear Steven Pearl rip him for that. It's an act due to the fact he's not that good. He's just surrounded by a good team. Cardwell is the guy I like in this game to help Auburn but Broome may resort to his "ankle injury" excuse if it's a tough road. Baker Mazara is going to fake/embellish an injury because he does that EVERY game.

Pettiford/Kelly/Jones will need to have big games and this is type of game Jones will disappear.

Yukmouf Chaney Johnson may be relied upon way too much per usual and Chris Moore should be left unguarded by Creighton.

I went with Auburn because they have looked shaky lately, might have peaked too soon this season. Really hoping for Duke to be first out though.

First time since 1985 that a 1-4 seed has not lost in the first round.
