Alabama loses. Either team has claim to 2nd best team.
We can either go to the Sugar Bowl.
Or we can go to the Orange Bowl.

Sugar Bowl is New Year's Eve at noon. Before the playoffs. At the exact same time we play Louisville in basketball.
Orange Bowl is the night before, only game being played.

The perception is the Sugar Bowl is a more elite bowl (whether that is true or not). And its connection to the SEC over the years. So I say Sugar.

I live for beating Louisville in basketball, but I wouldn't give 2 craps about that game if we are in the Sugar Bowl.

Would be the all-time lowest ticket prices for UK/UofL basketball. And that’s saying something because usually you can get in Rupp under $100. That upper baseline student section would be a creepy ghost town.

Why would UK allow themselves to be scheduled in Basketball at the same time as the Sugar Bowl this year? I get it, we have not been there in 70 years, and UK Basketball is good counterprogramming for football. but come on. Rupp has enough problems filling up lately. A ton of empty seats in the forecast at the Basketball game if UK is in the Sugar Bowl.

If i were in charge college basketball would not be played until after all football games including bowl games have been played. But I am a football first fan and too biased to be put in charge of basketball scheduling.

My first thought was Orange the more I think about it I'm leaning Sugar. They both are exceptional. More recruits in Florida for exposure. Not sure it matters a whole lot really. New Orleans if I were to attend myself.
