Where did all the old posters go after the board change?

I remember what was, at the time, the best message board in the nation, the old Wildcat chat, circa 1999, making the decision to switch to Rivals.com. That was their Waterloo. That Rivals site was the worst in the nation. Does anyone remember it? That brown and black paragraph style board? Good grief it was turrable. And it brought Wildcat Chat to it's heals.

This Rivals board is not as bad, but it is close. Why did CI switch, did they have no choice? Do they now owe their soles to the country sto?

...except for ones taking a break due to the terrible month that April 2015 has been for UK basketball.

The terrible threads more likely....too much like work wading through all the trolls to try and talk hundreds in off the ledge.

Oh my, we have some of the best posters in the world. Where have you gone cats1again? You let us down by not joining the new board with your assessment of towns walk. Was it cut nets who also had a great post with Davis=Henson? So many excellent posters over the years, it's like reading off nominees for the academy award.

I loved the guy(forgot his name) who started a thread on rafters about him and his girlfriend breaking up and he needed bbn to help him out. As you can imagine with this crowd we didn't disappoint him. I was in tears laughing at some of the responses people had on here as words of encouragement for this devistated poster. May he along with our other fallen comrades post in peace!

Most are still here. Just changed their sigs and avatars so they look different. Just need to read the names closer. I know wildcatdonf and Bostoncat are still here.

This. I'm not a veteran poster, but I've been away quite a bit because the loss was really hard to take.

I'm just pouting because I won't be able to run any of my contests until I do a couple of months of work.

I have been here just bummed out with Whisky loss, Duke win and recruiting or lack of.

You could do a Stupid Underdogs or Prediction contest for Brown and Murray.

railroadkat 1, my dad was a railroad man in Paducah for the IC for 30 years or so. I worked for them also for 2.5 years 50 something years ago. Good times.

wildcatdonf I was a fourth generation family Railroad member. My Great grandfather drove the first west bound locomotive (steam engine) over the golden spike in Utah. Love your post and look forward to reading many more. Thanks for the response!
