Where could these ten players rank at UK under Cal as far as single season most talented (combined)?

1. Wagner
2. Edwards
3. Bradshaw
4. Big Z
5. Dillingham
6. Shep
7. Reeves
8. Mitchell
9. Ugonna
10. Theiro

Could that be more pure talent than ‘12 and only behind ‘15 under Cal?

With only 1 title in 14 years I am not sure that having "pure talent" is enough. We have had a lot of "pure talent" in 14 years and yet UConn, Duke and Villanova all have had multiple titles to our 1. Arguably only Duke has had equal talent over that time period.

True but this roster just seems to have a great blend of raw talent, experience, size, speed, shooting abilty and D. Not to mention a few guys that could end up lotto picks. Well, hell, I mentioned it.
If all ten players accept their roles as most players do at UK under Cal this team has a great chance to be hell on wheels.

I agree that "pure talent" isn't enough as it seems many people describe our teams by how "talented" they are, but don't take into consideration experience. Talent is only "potential".

Many of our talented players over the years were young and were limited in their experience which in effect placed them on par with less talented players. Thus those teams and players were judged on their ceiling and not their actual current productivity level which left people describing them as underachievers.

Time will tell what ceilings our talented, but inexperienced at this level, players will reach.

But Cal is still the coach right? I mean he did lose to UConn who was coached by Kevin Ollie despite having more talent.
Yes CB but lets not forget that WCS was injured in the S16 tilt v U of L and Randle had a bum ankle in the Final.
Maybe this season we stay heathy?
