Sharpe debacle was the final straw for me. I think scammer is a bit harsh.

Cal mangled that by listening to his whiny players instead of doing the right thing and playing Sharpe.

Longer it went on, the more sideways it went. But Cal should shoulder the blame for that mess.

Edit to add: I’m somewhere past my final straw now. Beating a dead camel?

I was done with the 9-16 season. Since then, every game ceding 6-10 points off layups/dunks on baseline inbounds plays just dug the hole deeper.

I voted after the first ksu loss, but truthfully I've not wanted him since his dumb statement about the goal being to get 7 players drafted instead of winning a championship

It has been 2 years since my last post and 3 years for the previous one before that one. I check in from time to time to see how things are going and if people are finally tired of the team failing. I have a love of UK that I've had since a child, birthright, you know. I'm still butthurt from 2015 and the 2019 season cemented it for me. I haven't watched one game or bought one piece of merchandise since then, my own personal little boycott. I don't dislike Cal or hate him in any form or fashion. He by all accounts is a great person, humanitarian and really sticks up for his players. I just don't want him as the head coach at UK anymore, I always wanted Jay Wright after the BCG experiment, but it seems that ship has sailed and if we do even make a change it will be interesting to see who comes in. We have had some great players over the years of Cal's tenure but still failed, KAT, Devin Booker, Oscar and so on but let's be honest here, AD, MKG and company aren't walking through the door. Take care everyone.

Skal Labissierre playing over Humphreys

it was so ridiculous at the time and it showed that he cared more about nba potential of players than winning games

After the 2018 NCAAT loss to Kansas State.
I had already figured out he couldn’t coach before then but was hoping he could talent his way to another NC.

-Kansas St. First time I really questioned rather he was the right man for the job.
-Auburn probably the first time I said fire him but didn't really mean it.
-2019-2020 Won the SEC by 3 games team was playing it's best.
-Disaster in 21 but covid messed everything up for everyone
-St. Peter's was the end for me. The game had changed and he refused to change.
-2nd terrible loss to Kansas St. It was obvious at this point
-Oakland Don't understand how anyone could still want him after this.
