Just a honest question? No way should we be losing to a 10-11 type team. Just shouldn't happen here.

How do people expect UK not to struggle under Cal at some point when so many leave after 1 year. No matter how you slice it. This team has 2 players that are top notch D1 players. Ulis and Murray and Murray struggles on D which can be expected as a freshman. There is absolutely no post presence and they foul way too much and don't close out well, especially our big men.

When he visits a tanning bed?

When he goes into a dodgy neighborhood and fears for his safety?

Who wants him gone? I want him to try something different, because what he is trying to get this bunch to do ain't working.
I'm not making it up.

There are several on the board tonight calling for him to leave.

When bama lost to ole miss there where idiots on their board that said saban could not coach time for him to leave. when cal doesn't go to the final four in the next five years i still would want him. who would you replace cal with right now. which coach?

I wish he would of went zone some or try to get his best 3 point shooter (Willis) a open 3. You know some actually coaching.

Those people are idiots Dep. That said, I too want him to try something, anything, different.

I refuse to believe any bigs on our bench are worse than Lee or Skal, I just don't believe that.

Our guards are good enough to be great and lead us to a FF, if only they had some help, but they don't.

I agree I find him stubborn... He continues to play man defense on dead ball out of bounds and we get scored on at least 2 times every game. He won't attempt a zone when we continue to get driverd on at will. Couple just keep mounting. Maybe put in a offense play on occasion.

Other than that can't miss on talent evaluation like he did this year. All freshman better be bad asses or you will lose games like tonight.

Hangover from very emotional draining OT loss at KU plus the last road gm of 6 of 9 away from Rupp v a rival.

We will regroup with 3 of next 4 at home.

Everyone take a deep breath....this team needs one too.

We have been spoiled with the final fours but the truth is harder to swallow. 4 of 7 of Cals teams will have 10 loss regular seasons assuming this one stays the course. Had it not been for the Harrison miracles in 2014 and we had lost to witchita state or the dirty birds it might set in on a few more. Cal is the best recruiter the college game has seen in some time, if ever. But his coaching is severely lacking if you are trying to coach your team to a championship every year.

Too much emphasis has been put on preparing the player for the next level as opposed to preparing said player to
Help his team meet their maximum potential.

When other teams are scoring at will coaches change things up, not here. We just keep doing the same thing, all man all the time and hope for different results. Cal has again made his team one dimensional and easier to prepare for. If there is another team in the country that gives up as many easy baskets as we do when the opposing team takes it out under the own basket I would love to see it. Happens over and over under cal and tonight happened in the last two minutes after cutting the lead to 4. Until cal is willing to change his philosophy as a coach which is not likely to happen we can expect this frustration every single year. Mostly we will experience the frustration of a less than stellar regular season and things fall where they will in the NCAAT or have the type seasons we had in 10, 12, and 15 and other than 12' be left scratching our heads asking how in the heck did that team not win it all.

I hear what you are saying here, but I think part of the problem is the Freshman class in general is really, really weak thus year.

Outside of Simmons, Winslow, Murray and one or two others across the country, there just weren't many impact players in that class who were ready to contribute as Frosh. That is killing us and Duke the most right now.

4 of 7? That's a bizarre stat, considering only the 2013 team lost 10 regular season games.

Almost as if you made it up.

I am assuming anybody who is asking such a ridiculous question is under 30 maybe under 20 years old and has only followed UK basketball since Cal became the coach. You have got to be kidding? You don't know what Kentucky Basketball means do you? Take it from me, somebody who has followed UK for 50 years. Graduated from UK. Played basketball. Knows Kentucky basketball. Over the last 50 years, from Coach Rupp to tonight, this is not the first time we had a bad loss in the league like the embarassment at Auburn. This was not the first time, that we have gone to Knoxville and lost to a Tennessee team that had no more than one maybe two players that could even make our team, but yet play like all NBA players and win a game like tonight. All those new generation fans on here that think Louisville is our rival...How much does tonight sting for you? If does not. If you don't wake up in the middle of night with losing to the orange doesn't naw on you. If hearing that damn Rock Top song doesn't make you want to throw up, you are not a Kentucky basketball person, and you would ask a question, When does Cal start taking the heat? Really?

Hmmm. I think the word for this is idiocy.....

He isn't the one fouling, or not defending. Sure he must get this team right, but you can't put blame on him. Not even half.
