Pitino was 14-14 his first season - but you could take one look at his team and tell that he was going to absolutely kill it here.

That’s what we’re looking for.

--Team cohesiveness

--Offense production

--Being able to change up the defense when necessary (Something hard head would never do)

--Actually go search for and recruit players and not be lazy and solely depend on the star rating

--Put up a decent record and hopefully make it to the Sweet 16 at least

There is nothing that can change my mind. This was a terrible hire at the time.

Hope Pope does well and wins multiple championships, but the decision, at this point, was pure insanity by Barnhart.

That will never change for me and I will never hold water for our AD’s handling of the basketball program.
