For me it was the 2015 Final 4 game, I remember it like it was yesterday. That team was special, when they lost I was never the same after that. It broke me into a million pieces..

All of them. Every single one.
However, more recent pain felt from Wisconsin and UConn for sure, but also the one that really sticks in my craw is Luke Maye hitting a miracle shot for UNC after Monk's heroic bucket.

I mean every loss in March sucks, but being that close to an undefeated season was just different. It killed me lol
1993 loss to the Fab Five in the Final Four.
Mashburn deserved a title for turning Kentucky around.

2015 kicked me in the nuts, then 2017 poked me in the eyes while bent over, still in pain. Probably won’t get over those two until UK cuts some nets down again.

I think we all know the answer to this one. It's not even close.
Wisconsin game broke everyone and we haven't recovered yet,but everyone knows the CL shot was the only 1 that matters. We are Kentucky guys we will always have big losses and Heartbreakers. When we reach that peak again it's important to remember and take it all in.
The 1984 loss to Georgetown was brutal and the loss in 1986 to LSU in the E8. Remember Ricky Blanton?
Ironic that a non-final four or final game loss is the one that kills our collective soul.
All losses suck. But I'm not shattered by any of them. It's a game it's entertainment. You get shattered by family or friend having medical issues or if they die.

1966 to Texas Western, though I think the 1975 UCLA loss would have been a greater benefit. We would have 9 titles to their 10. Wooden would have retired a loser and Joe B. would have had 2 titles and be in the Naismith HOF.
Definitely 1966, Rupps Runts. I felt like I knew those guys, they had all been here several years. Conley, Riley, Dampier, Jaracz and Kron! My favorite team by far.
Jock Sutherland despised Joe hall so bad over the way he used dirk minniefield there is no proof but if you do get a chance to see it you would understand why that theory is out there

The years of Claude Sullivan and Cawood Ledford were so special to me. There will come a time that no one will be around who heard those 2 do UK games. Some of history will be lost when that happens. I wish I could put into words what they meant to countless kids across Kentucky on cold winter nights. It will have to suffice that I understand it now better than I did then. What a privilege it was

2017 UNC. It’s the only game that I really believe the refs influenced the outcome and it cost UK #9
2004 against UAB. Fitch was one of my all time favorite players. I swore off Kentucky basketball for a while.
2014 UCONN. It was a sure title if we win. Same with 97. I'd argue beating uconn n 2011 was as close to a sure title as well as butler wasn't as good n 2011.
I doubt Vegas and the refs allow UK to beat Duke in 2015. Just IMO. Still a gut wrenching loss.

I sat in the Carrier Dome and watched to my amazement, shot after shot bricking off the rim against West Virginia in 2010 when I knew we had the best team in the country.
