Lots of the bogart movies. Maltese Falcon. Treasure of Sierra Madre. Petrified Forest. Key Largo and of course, Casablanca. All classics!

The Maltese Falcon is my favorite Bogart movie and is in my personal top 10.

So is The Third Man.

Those are my 2 favorite black and white movies.

One of my favorite channels is TCM and has been for years. Watch a lot of foreign films too when I can. So I don’t think I’ve missed out on any films that are culturally relevant.

People who refuse to watch foreign films are also missing out.

My favorite is probably Old Boy.

I also really like Pan's Labyrinth and City of God.

I know there are lots of others I can't think of right now.

A lot. I don’t watch many movies. And then I normally stick to the critically acclaimed instead of whatever is popular. If I’m going to make a 1.5-2+ hour commitment I need to know it’s quality art and not bottom of the barrel cheap thrills.

Not sure I’ve ever sat through an entire movie with Meryl Streep. Maybe Silkwood? Just don’t like her. The epitome of over acting in my opinion. Oh, she was in The Deer Hunter I think but in a secondary role.

I dated a girl in college who lost her virginity during Schindler’s List. And the hick didn’t even know it’s a Seinfeld episode too. For this reason I haven’t gone back to watch the movie.
