I will start it off. This could turn into a nice history lesson since I'm not as old as some of the posters here but I have seen the last 3 championships!

Round of 64: 2011 (Brandon Knight hits his first of many clutch shots in this tournament vs Princeton)
Round of 32: 1999 (Scott Padgett hits yet another clutch 3 from the top of the key to tie/beat Kansas)
Sweet Sixteen: 2012 (Soo many to choose from but the revenge whoopin' on IU was so sweet)
Elite Eight: 1998 (Avenged the '92 loss by breaking Duke's 17 point lead)
Final Four: 2014 (Aa. Harrison's 3 was so clutch right after his brother made a bone-headed mistake)
National Championship: 1998 (Will always go down as one of my all-time favorite teams)

Round of 64: 2011
Round of 32: 2014
Sweet Sixteen: 1993 Wake Forest
Elite Eight:
1998
Final Four: 2012

64: 2011
32: 2014 (amazing game, best of the tourney)
16: 2014 (broke UofL fan's hearts)
8: 2011 (first time in final four since 98
4: 2012 (beat our rivals on the biggest stage)
Championship: 2012 (coronation complete)

1st Rd: 1975 Marquette - Close game at the half, UK destroyed in the 2nd.
2nd Rd: 2002 Tulsa - Got to see in person Prince torch them for 41 in the city where Goose dropped 41 on Duke in '78.
3rd Rd: 1993 - WF, "Listen to them." My favorite UK YT video, 1983 - IU, Knight thought he had the better team, UK proved him wrong again, 1984 - UL - Hard fought game, big play by Bennett to seal it, 2012 - IU
4th Rd: 1975 - IU, enough said, 1978 - MSU - Beat a very good Spartans team led by Magic in a nail biter, 1998 - Duke, great comeback,"Turner burner and one!"
NSF: 2012 - UL, sent the orange birds back home, (Sure as hell wasn't 1984!)

Finals: 1978,1996, 1998*, 2012

* Got to watch in person in SA. Folks had tickets for '78 but Dad had to be back at work for IBM that Monday and missed out that game.

** 1983 - Dream Game: Hated the outcome but was actually a damn good game and great atmosphere for a neutral site.
1992 - Duke - Loss has never really bothered me, great team and great game. Took a perfect game from the best player to beat UK that day.
*** 2014 - That tournament run is one I think will never be matched again by a UK team, just incredible clutch plays throughout and the WSU is one of the best I've seen played by both teams.

2011, beating both OSU & UNC. All my UNC buddies never gave us even a chance to beat OSU, let alone mighty UNC. 2012 National Title. Beating Dook and Magloire trying to make little Wojo's!

there are 3 games from that 1998 run that could count as most memorable, not the least of which should be the incredible OT win vs. Stanford that put us in the final, though most fans would refer to the regional final comeback against Duke. However, for this discussion, as seems coincidentally appropriate - and hopefully not taboo - I'm going to mention the south regional semi final (sweet sixteen), 26 point win over the UCLA Bruins.

The Round of 32 matchup against Cincinnati in 2005 will always be one of my favorites.

Bob Huggins' last game as coach of the Bearcats. Does UK ever stop humiliating this clown? Do Bearcats' fans EVER stop talking trash and bad-mouthing UK? We were a 2-seed and they were a 7-seed, yet the game had a crazy Final Four atmosphere the entire way through. Their players were punks the entire friggin' game. Even after Azubuike and Randolph Morris put the finishing touches on Cincy's overmatched butts, Nick Williams spent the entire post-game whining about "the better team not winning."

I drink myself silly on the bitter tears of those just north of the river.

Fun thread!

64 - 1996 vs. San Jose State. I couldn't wait for that tournament to start. Knew UK was gonna win it. But boy did they do it in style, starting with this 110-72 trashing of SJSU.

32 - 2014 Wichita State. Nothing comes close. Still the only tournament game I have watched multiple times.

16 - probably Indiana in 2012, just because it was IU and it was such a fabulous high scoring game. Runner up 2011 Ohio State.

8 - 1975 IU. Runner up 2011 UNC***. Nothing like beating an alltime rival to get to a Final Four. Lucky I was there for both of them!

National semifinal - 2014 Wisconsin. Aaron Harrison.

Championship - 1978. Got to witness my high school classmate Jack Givens pour in 41 points and UK win its first championship in my lifetime, as a senior.
