With NIL and the money drain that it’s going to create. What if UK announced that they were doing away with all sports except football, basketball, baseball on the men’s side and women’s basketball, volleyball, and softball. All other sports would be only on an intramural basis ? Would that free up enough revenue to be competitive in those six sports ? I fully realize it’s not going to happen but it’s unrealistic to think some sports are gonna go away ?
