No doubt Coach Cal would have been beaten to death on this board and others for using the University's resources to help a young man attain his dreams. For my part, I am proud to have a coach who is helping people. Would it have hurt the program if Diallo had stayed? Maybe, maybe not. Would it have helped the program? Maybe, maybe not. Some people would have looked upon the action favorably, others would not have. For my money, Coach Cal absolutely did the right thing to help this young man and it would have been the right thing if Diallo never played a single minute in a Kentucky uniform.

The good of the players and the good of people in general must always be put ahead of the good of the program. I am a firm believer that if you do what is right then everything else will take care of itself. For now, let us all tell Coach Cal how proud we are of him for standing behind Mr. Diallo and for ignoring all those idiots who try to find fault in the good that he is doing.

If "if" was a fifth, we'd all be drunk!

There's no "if he left" because he did not leave and that's my thoughts on the matter.

Fine with me if he left. I preferred Cam Johnson, though I realize there was no guarantee he'd choose UK with Diallo gone.

Oh Goodness, livin the dream!! Most overused line I've ever seen.

Yea, most of them haven't a clue what their "dream" is by 16/17, probably what every kids parents dreams are - Money. Just like mine. Lol. Cash those checks. Some of these early entrees are gonna have a new dream in a few years, a college diploma and a job,
Lol.

Had Diallo stayed in that would have changed the entire situation. Yea. There would be a lot of upset people.

He didn't, he did what he said he'd do. I won't pontificate the alternative because it's been beaten to death.

Watching Diallo potentially turn down millions to return was a very good day for me and I believe everyone else.

All the Negative Nancies would have camped out on here all summer.

As it is, they've disappeared until we lose our first game.

It is amazing how angry people can get when things don't go their way. I just wanted this whole situation to be viewed in a very positve way regardless of how it turned out. Seems as though some people got mad because they predicted Diallo would leave and of course he did not. Why can't they be happy no matter how things turned out and be happy we have a great coach?
