What did you expect, him to announce 30 minutes after bam? I don't know why I bother even asking.
Probably to be the last big news and have his name out there continuously with no effort.
He is going to go to college but only practice and not play. He is waiting to see how his buddy Ham does in the draft. Can't say as I blame him. Get a free years school plus free room and board. Get to travel with the team stay in plush hotels eat at best restaurants court side seats to all UK games Date hot girls...no worry about game prep and then get drafted.
He's probably waiting until he feels he's made a decision on a school.

He's a high school KID getting ready to make the first big decision for his adult life. That decision will have a big impact on his future and there's thousands of people waiting on his choice, a lot of pressure for a senior in High School. He's probably going to pick us, he's just at the end of the road and a little scared to probably make the final choice. The guys who pick early get the nerves out early, but kids like Bamba who wait love/struggle with the process and it ending is probably a hard thing to grasp.

Well, if he is set on coming here, I doubt he would announce right after Bam announced. That would make it patently obvious he was waiting on his decision, and probably wouldn't have come here otherwise. I just hope he announces something in the next week or so.

I still believe that he was waiting on BAM's decision if staying in the NBA Draft. This news about BAM just came out yesterday and today so I am sure Coach Cal knows that BAMBA is #1 priority and Cam Johnson is close behind. I believe with Cam Johnson now that the word is out that NBA Scouts are saying that Diallo if stays in draft would go 1st round this is big with his Visit this week. Now that BAM has hired his Agent this will also help BAMBA with his decision. I don't believe as some were saying if BAM stays that BAMBA still commits at UK. That would be BAM, Bamba, and Richards even though they want to play different positions. I believe it helps big time now that BAM has made it official that he has hired an Agent and that now gets Bamba to UK.
