What threads were started that dumb and premature? I honestly don’t recall seeing any. Many have said the Bradshaw thread was idiotic when in fact there was nothing idiotic about it, someone stating they didn’t see him as a first rounder and most just hoping he would contribute more to the team than he had. Post was made in first half after two straight full games where he added nothing and then in first half yesterday was playing very poorly. Some posters take anything said about someone that isn’t glowing compliments as bashing when it’s merely observations. Posters who make more of things than what they is where the real problem lies.

How about the one saying "Another stacked roster for Cal, another unranked loss" when the game was not even close to being over? That one in particular doesn't seem idiotic to you?

How about the one that said "F*ck You Cal" in the OP when they thought we were going to lose?

There are literally so many- you just have to look.

So getting hyped for one win is fine, but all is not well with this program though.

We did have a couple of good wins against ranked teams this year though..they could also be considered meaningful
That being said…I still do not trust Calipari. He’s doing “okay” right now, and I do love the team he has assembled. But…I don’t trust him

This is why I don't post during games. It's nearly always gonna be a knee jerk reaction and it rarely turns out to be accurate. Folks probably think I'm always sweet as pie to Cal and the team, because I always wait until I've calmed down and the game is over before posting. But the truth is, I often am ranting and angry- at Cal, at players, just at the team in general. If I were to post my in-game rants, I'd have a very different reputation on this board. EDIT: To answer your question- what can be done? Absolutely nothing. 🤣

That 7 year thing isn’t true. Pumpers/ doomers they are really all alike. But when their emotions drive them to spread lies or just be belligerent and unfair I believe someone should call bullshit.

If you think all is not well right now then I suspect there’s no level of success that will satisfy you. My guess is you are a cal hater first and a Kentucky fan second. That’s your right and you have the right to speak your mind. Just like I have the right to say you’re full of shit

I agree and appreciate the amount of rope people have here. The Louisville board serves as a cautionary tale. Nothing there now except tumble weeds

We have had 3 really bad years, a couple extra where we fell short of a SEC title or Tourney win, that’s what has made it feel worse honestly. Still even in those down years we have been ranked high and had some good wins. But now we are back on track competing at the highest level.

Let people express their opinions about the game and those who play it. Players and coaches expect this stuff. It would be really boring if a typical thread looked like this:
