2 of the threads in particular that got started today were as dumb and premature as I have maybe ever seen.
In fairness, our wives and husbands get tired of our complaining. This is our only outlet.

They desperately need to cry. They don't understand the importance of that game or that win as team growth. Didnt shoot well at first, got down...still kept composure and won.

People get emotional during games. They overreact at the smallest of things.
Not just UK. How many times on here do threads pop up during games where a massive underdog has a lead at halftime? And 99% of the time the favorite ends up coming back immediately after that post is made lol.

I’ve suffered from Calipari fatigue for several years now. At least this season there’s some semblance of enjoyment. Some people just can’t wait to trash Cal at the earliest opportunity.

I just say what I want to say when I feel it but I’m usually thinking about how to get the next title, so I don’t really make sense sometimes, in the moment, to some.

Kenpom predicted a 1 point win, we won by 2. Makes sense we stayed exactly where we were.
And though 13 games I think we started out in Kenpom as 16th. So we've basically done exactly as predicted so far lol

Hard to understand number 6 team in the country playing a unranked team
Combination of them having home court advantage and maybe Vegas not really believing we are actually the 6th best team in America.

I have no idea how Vegas makes the odds on these games. But if you use the eye test, it was easy to see where the skepticism was. Florida was Kenpom 35th, they were at home, and it was our first SEC game and a road one at that.

Making a post about us losing the game when it's halftime of early second half is always uncalled for. You want to vent then post on the game thread.
Mods should be deleting the posts but they don't seem to do much on this board. I wish they did , it would make this board infinitely better.
I would love to see a zoom call during a game. Watching everyone's reaction to live gameplay would be a sight to behold.
This is why I don't post during games. It's nearly always gonna be a knee jerk reaction and it rarely turns out to be accurate. Folks probably think I'm always sweet as pie to Cal and the team, because I always wait until I've calmed down and the game is over before posting. But the truth is, I often am ranting and angry- at Cal, at players, just at the team in general. If I were to post my in-game rants, I'd have a very different reputation on this board. EDIT: To answer your question- what can be done? Absolutely nothing. 🤣
