What are you listening to?

Dave Grohl's 1991 solo album Pocketwatch. He's the only remaining musician I really, really want to see live.

I have been lucky enough to see the best of the best guitarists in our era, and a few older gents too....Kenny Wayne Shepherd belongs in any conversation. He was ridiculous last night.

I may leave a few out, but in no particular order, I have witnessed guitar excellence from the following....

KWS
Gary Clark Jr.
Nils Lofgren
George Thorogood
Eric Clapton
Edge
Jimmie Vaughan
EVH
Keith Urban
Rick Nielsen
Brian May
Buddy Guy
Prince
Steve Lukather
Keith Richards (back when he was in a mortal state)

Keith Urban? Not trying to be a dick and ruin the spirit of the thread: Does he really deserve to be mentioned with those other legends?

I honestly don’t know shit about Keith Urban but just lumped him with the other generic, radio country. School me a little here.

Run Away to Mars by Talk (the only 400 pound singer you will see, I am guessing), really cool song

And yes, ban me from the music thread now, if you must, but also like Anti-Hero by Taylor Swift

He is absolutely worthy and can shred the hell out of it....some cool youtube vids of him doing solos. I actually like his music as well (nothing like the radio crap that is out today)

Plus....he's good enough to have participated in a couple of Clapton's Crossroads Festivals in the past.

My first concert at Bogarts in Cincy, where I jumped into a mosh pit. Big mofo’s knock me down several times, but always helped me back up to my feet 😀
