Feeling a little female-lead Alt-Rock kinda day. Saw the 2nd band a few years back at Larkfest and they were superb. Of course Maps has to be here. I think it's the most fun song to play on the drums.. the emphasis on the toms is great.
Tool has never done anything for me. I should like them, they include a lot of genres/sounds I enjoy, but every song I listen to I think is gonna have some break... and then it doesn't.
Really dig The Beths, feels like they should be or on their way to being a bigger deal. This tune (especially the bridge) always hit me in a good spot:
BTW - I never got the hate for Navarro. I mean, he's not a guitar god by any means, but he's not as bad as some make out.
