What an awesome offseason for the Redlegs

I knew it was a HUGE mistake to throw the bank at Bailey. Clouded vision due to a couple no-hitters. 3 starts in and he hasn't sniffed the 6 inning. 8.16 ERA. Reds never miss an opportunity to make the wrong move.

Also, is Hamilton on pace to have the worst season ever for a leadoff hitter? I know it's very, very early, but good lord he is awful. Great pinch runner and base stealer. They should have kept the money they threw at Baily and given it to Choo.

Choo wouldn't have signed with the Reds regardless of the money they gave Homer. Homer not ready for season. The injury set him back.

Reds are about to get back on track by smashing bad teams. Plus the bullpen is getting healthy.

Mes is hitting let's hope he has a breakout year.

A relevant bump. What a terrible team, franchise, organization, etc. They screwed the pooch in their brief contending window and now the free-fall has begun. Can't wait for Walt and Co. to hold on to all the tradeable assets until it's too late and their market value has decreased significantly.

And what is the over/under on how many more times they trot Marquis out there to get clobbered?

A once-proud baseball team is such a joke now. I'm convinced the owners and GMs the last couple decades were in some kind of cabal to make them as bad as possible. Joey was crazy for signing a long contract.

The Reds arent going to be able to afford Bailey unless they trade BP. Bailey is going to get around 10Mil in his arbitration, he asked for 12.6 or so, the reds countered with almost 9mil. So next year, a 5 year deal will cost them around $60million, maybe more, depending on how this season goes for him.

Mesaraco is one of the bright spots on the team but unfortunately with this hip impingement he is likely to need surgery if he going to keep catching. I said after last season that everyone except Devon and Hamilton should be expendable. Bruce is proving me right.

Though some of the batting numbers are good this season that RISP average is the one that is killing them and they are close to last in the NL.

Hamilton and Bruce are useless. They traded away 2 starters, so you knew it would be a struggle there. Blow them up is what I say and start over because what they're doing now isn't working.
