Wenyen Gabriel before/after pic

That's fake lol. That don't happen in three weeks.

Actually it can. You've never been to basic training I guess. Cut sugar for two weeks, run, calisthenics, and weights. Those guys weren't fat to begin with. You want lean, cut sugar, calories, exercise, and watch.

Why not do this last year?! I guess better late then never.

NO WAY!! Anyone who has worked out before knows that this is not possible in 3 weeks. Possibly with some steroids and extremely strict diet but still very unlikely. Something is off here. Either it's been a hellava lot longer than 3 weeks or there is some photo shop going on.

The difference is a teensy teensy bit of size and a lot of tone and definition.

This individual picture and its time frame may or may not be authentic. But folks saying this type of transformation is not possible in three weeks have simply never done enough intense resistance training themselves. It's not impossible at all.

BS. Won't happen and if you've ever lifted anything heavier than a mouse you would know that.

Lol. Guess you're puny. Three weeks is in fact longer than the toning window that professional bodybuilders, including friends of mine, switch to high hydration cleansing diets (and then low hydration diets the last few days) and very high rep/low weight sets for hours each day to get results even more dramatic than in that picture.

Pussy.

I think it's hard as a freshman to have that mindset of having to constantly work on your body.

During the season, you're adjusting to life as a college kid. You want to have fun, but you've got class and practice and games, etc. Balancing all of that is hard enough.

The off-season provides more time and you certainly have a better handle on balancing those things.

I also think a lot of young kids just don't have the concept of having to work on their body to get to an elite level.

Good for him. He'll be big for us this year.

Looks like Wenyen is working hard to get in great shape. I can't imagine how focused Wenyen must have been, if he really had that dramatic of a transformation in three weeks. I guess it would be possible for an elite athlete with a pro trainer and nutritionist.

I've been to all kinds of training and cut all kinds of stuff. Those results don't happen in 3 weeks. No way.

It's happened to me before and I have seen others. I won't debate with you but workout three times a day for three weeks. If you say you have and pushed like a top athlete or a soldier then you may have been eating all wrong.

when I was early twenties and especially late teens I could put on or take off 20 pounds in a very short time. Now, not so much the off side...

Doubt he was in basic training.

Probably a lot more intense for the three weeks. I've seen some real pudges in basic training and the Army even years ago seemed to lessen standards versus making some rise to the standard.

I wonder how many negatives were also negative concerning Diallo recently. It seems the negatives fight real hard to prove the negative. Not a good way to live if anything else.

Dayum. If he can keep that up and focus on rebounding and throw some weight around, he may get more PT, IMO.

You don't even really have to exercise that much. A few years ago, I dropped about 30 lbs with pretty much no exercise just from drastically reducing carbs. High fat/low carb diet works.

Also, good grief, a 20 year old world class athlete with a world class trainer and world class nutritionist is going to have different results than your buddy who goes hard at the local gym that you're comparing this to.

It's not like he packed on 30 pounds of muscle. He toned up, cut water weight, and is flexing.

To help some of you out who think it's not possible. First picture was taken before the first workout, muscles not flexed, with no added lighting. Second was taken post workout, muscles flexed, with added lighting. He got good results from 3 weeks of hard training, but the results aren't quite as dramatic as they appear.

For somebody who went to the gym for an hour and a half for 5 days a week for over 10 years, if I take 6 months-1 year off, I can look as bad as his before photo, but after 3 weeks of correct dieting, hitting the gym again, and popping some super dmz (From Amazon. Not a steroid), my muscle memory will kick in and by the time a month has gone by I Will have made a similar change in growth and tone.

Plus, I am 32. For an 18 year old using professional trainers, I'm sure it's A LOT easier to accomplish than how I can do it after being self taught.

For someone who has never lifted, I don't think gains like that are possible. For someone who has been slacking for a few months-a year? It really is not that hard to accomplish.

I've been blessed with great metabolism as well, which plays a big part.

I don't think it is that outrageous of a deal like some are making.

All in my completely worthless opinion as always.

Ha, I wish I could show you some of my pictures back in the Army days.

But that's more than just a slight change, that's a transformation. After seeing Wenyen's pictures from last season, I'm questioning the "before" picture in this thread. The photo I saw earlier from Oct of 2016 resembles the "after" picture a lot. I've been through some very extreme training that is just as strenuous as basic, if not more (with all due respect) and I've never seen a transformation like that in 3 weeks. The body just can not physically do that in that short amount of time. Sure, you can get lean and get cut in a short amount of time but this is added muscle we are talking about in these photos. He's not just cutting fan and eating heads of lettuce all day to get lean, he's added 20 pounds of muscle in those photos. That just can't happen in 3 weeks. Even with steroids, as I've seen the effects of those as well, can make that happen that fast. If so, everyone would look like that. Lol.

Im sure between aau, high school, graduation, commiting, and coming to college. Plus not being a one and done like he probably expected and seeing what he needed to do motivated him and his parents to do anything it takes to make a few million dollars in a year or so.

Most everyone on here is likely 15~? Pounds to fat(lots of real fat), does not workout and if they do, its nothing like these guys(specifically pros,), and eat terrible because they work a ton of hours and a lot of fast food. Some are naturally skinny, or bigger. Age, height, frame, all kinds of things to consider and UKBB is 100% correct. My brother is tall and skinny and after basic he looked like he gained 10 pounds of pure muscle and biggest ive ever seen him.

Looks like some UFC fighters who cut a bunch of weight to make it on weigh in day , They look chiseled out of stone on weigh in day and more " normal" 24 hours later .

You picked professional body builders who have years of training and already have the musculature in place. They are loading with steroids and are only looking to shred.

Step away from the posing mirror and use your head for something besides counting reps.

Dummy in the most respectable way.
