Went to ESPN site to read about our big win.....

Absolutely nothing on there about it. Not a word. However, there are THREE STORIES ABOUT DUKE right on the first page!!! And they didn't even play yesterday.

What the hell????
I just clicked on ESPN’s CBB page to see what you’re talking about and ain’t seeing it. Where are these “three stories about Duke right on the first page”?

There's a reason why ESPN is loosing money and having to let "talent" go. They suck and always have sucked. They just got away with it for so long because they were the only game in town. Disney and their ESG crap was just the final nail in the coffin.

They also might as well be the Duke sporting news since all they want to hire are Duke media majors.

Just ESPN haters gonna hate. You would think with ESPN being the SEC network they would have this on their but nope. ESPN loves BAMA, UGA, LSU, Florida, Texas AM, Tennessee and soon to be Texas and Oklahoma. Kentucky not so much.

OP was last seen reading this thread 30 minutes ago.

In that time, @UK90 posed two questions that the OP refused to answer.

In fact, UK90 asked his questions about 55 minutes ago, giving the OP more than enough time to provide evidence of his argument.

@Ima Alien , get in here and answer the question.

I don't know why you are not seeing them. Here is a snap of the page as I see it. I use a computer, not my phone, so maybe that makes a difference? I have marked the Duke crap with a red arrow.

It took me a little time, because I was copying the page exactly as I see it on my computer so I could post it. I have now posted the image. Is that OK for you sweetheart?

I noticed some replies about seeing a bunch of ads. You might note that there is no ads on the page that I see. I use adblock plus. It is great, and free!

That is not a "story" about Duke, instead it's merely a pic above a story about CBB in general. And it only appears once on what comes up when I open that link.

As far as I can tell, there are zero stories about Duke on that page, much less "three", as you so proclaimed with ALL CAPS and exclamation marks!!! And there's plainly more about Kentucky there than Duke.

I know ranting about ESPN bias is a favored theme here. But there's no need to make fake shit up to do it.

I agree with the OP… at least on the UK part.

UK UNC was the marquee matchup outside of Zona Purdue… not even a single link to a story? It was also a highly competitive game that ended up going down to the wire.

I guarantee you had the Heels come out victorious it would be top of the board material. I’m not an ESPN conspiracy theorist either.

I don’t get mad but this just gives fodder to people thinking there is bias… whether real or imagined!

I might add also that the page I visit on ESPN is the men's college basketball page only. It is the page I have bookmarked. ESPN has a lot of pages I suppose, so it might make some difference in what shows. Could make a difference in where you live and other things also. It just pissed me off seeing the dook crap and nothing about our game. Some of those stories have been on there for several days and I am getting tired of seeing them. I visited some other sports pages and I'll be damned if they didn't seem to be ignoring us too! We seem to be universally hated.

Here is the page that I visit and that the screen cap came from:

Prayers sent OP. If only there were some way to customize the settings to see the teams/leagues/results/stories you care about the most....🤔
Well, I have done that. You have to sign up with ESPN, then you can add in all your preferences for each sport. You can see where it shows that my "preference" is Kentucky at the left, but that is the only mention. Maybe there was a story on down the page, but I got tired of scrolling. LOL.

On my main ESPN page right now, the UK - UNCheats game is the 2nd story, with the NFL (of course) the lead story.

Y’all just out there looking for stuff to get mad about
You honestly think people are mad? It’s pointing out what a joke they are and why they are such a failure. There’s like 8 college basketball fan bases that pay attention to CBB throughout the year. Kentucky is top of that list. UNC is probably 2nd, their fans aren’t as loud and far reaching as Duke, but they are actual fans, not casuals.

To have your “top headlines” mention every marquee matchup, “Clingan leads UConn”, “MSU has break out game against Baylor”, “Purdue’s guard duo delivers”. It’s Kentucky vs. North Carolina, like is that not relevant? Is the writing staff so thinned out that they can’t even cover one of the premier rivalries of the sport? Nobody is mad bro, people are just pointing out how lazy and uncaring they are.

Wild that this matters to anyone. Just check the scores. You’re just looking for stuff to feel victimized about.

They led SEC Now with the UNC- UK game. SEC Now is an ESPN network.

Victim mentality. We won a big game yesterday. Stop looking for stuff to get mad about. My advice.

If we'd have lost, it would have been the headline...guaranteed.

I clicked the link. My Ctrl-F to look for Kentucky returned several clips of the UK-UNC game.

Reed Sheppard shows off another steal and score.
RJ Davis drains 3 PT shot against Kentucky
Cormac Ryan drains the and-1 finish
Adou Thiero elevates for the big time stuff

Did the OP actually make an effort? Do people know how to find text on a web page? [ctrl-F] [text] If you didn't know, now you do. If you did, naughty-naughty.

Not a single story about the game yesterday.
Well, perhaps they should’ve written more about our game. Although, as others noted, if there’s bias involved in that, it more likely has to do with the fact that our game was sponsored by their rival CBS Sports.

I was only taking issue with the bogus claim about three Duke stories on the front page. That appears to have been blatantly false.

CBS sports classic. Espn barley covers it.

100%. If it was Champions Classic it would be top page.

Yep CBS sports classic isn’t going to get much attention from ESPN.
ESPN covers the NCAA Tournament Non-Stop and it's on CBS.

The complaint is that ESPN definitely covers the UK program differently than Duke. With all of the woke crap going on over there now, it probably comes down to the "Mothership's" northeastern exec's perception that UK fans are just a bunch of redneck rubes, whereas the Dukies are considered Elite.
