I really think Weaver may be done for the season, or at least the bigger part of it.

He was in a full sling and cast getup at the game last Saturday. Didn’t look like he would be ready for a while. Hope he is back by the UT game.
My teammate in high school had it early in the year he didn’t end up coming back until regions, so that’s almost 2 months maybe weaver can play through pain
Judkins has more carries and yards than Evans. Actually Judkins has more rushing yardage than our whole team. 429-326.
Is he like their power back, and evans the change of pace, because all I even see is evans highlights
Ole Miss two good runners so if something happens to Judkins may see a little drop off. Thought they said that Weaver had a dislocated elbow, nothing broke or torn? And he can't hurt it worse than it is.
I'm just looking at stats, I've only watched a play or 2 of Ole Miss all year. Judkins has 70 carries for 429 yards and 5 TDs, Evans 59 carries for 365 and 4 TDs, so looks like a pretty even split. Judkins has 6.1 YPC to Evans 6.2.
Hopefully maybe get him back Oct 15th to rush & hassle Will Rodgers a few times

Come on man. We have NO ONE who can set the edge on run plays that are anywhere close to JJ in talent, size, and experience.
This is a huge blow to our chances of stopping the run and containing a running QB like Ole Miss has right now.

Yea to me Kentucky needs to load the box and make dart beat them, he is like Richardson, has potential but is extremely inconsistent
We've done it once, nothing to stop us from doing it twice I suppose. Weaver being out hurts the plan tho.
Saw Dart on some of those "PAC-12 After Dark" games last year. The guy is very talented, really good athlete, big and fast and a nice arm. BUT.....you're right, extremely inconsistent and a guy that sometimes tried to do too much, more than he was capable of. However, last year he was poorly coached at USC, maybe Kiffin has coached that out of him. Here's the bad news for UK: Weaver is UK's chief spy on running QBs, he is really good at tracking down those guys. Weaver's loss is a big hit to UK.
Happened on a fluke play too, sucks for Weaver. I wonder if Wallace or Jackson has done any cross training on the edge. Both seem to have enough athletic ability to do spot duty out there.

Imo the biggest issue will be his effectiveness when he returns. Dislocation really causes alot of atrophy to surrounding muscle groups. At his position arm extension and explosion is a key tool. Just don't see how he will have it anytime in the next few weeks.

I have been wondering the same thing and a variation. I wonder if we could do that or move Square to OLB and have Jackson or Wallace step into Square's ILB position. Square seems like he would have the ability to play OLB. The critic would be that is weakening 2 position rather than just dealing with the one position.
I think the Wade kid that backs up Weaver is going to be an excellent player but he is a true freshman and has only played in 4 college games and I don't think he got many snaps at FL as Weaver played most of the game. Plus, what do we have backing up Wade if he were to get injured or he just gets overwhelmed as a freshman playing in a very significant SEC road game.
Fearby but also a Freshman. I hadn't noticed it but Wade is listed as the backup at both Outside spots and Afari was listed as the starter in Weaver's absence.
Wright, Square, Wallace and Wade will shut Ole Miss down on the edges.

UK is going to prevail
There is NOTHING positive about losing your only true Jack LB with any SEC experience. Also, all SEC. Wright does not play Jack. Square and Wallace are INSIDE LB for a reason.
Wade is going to be a good one......when he matures, gains SEC level strength in the weight room, puts on about 25 lbs. of muscle, and learns the defense...........
How much pressure did we get on NIU QB without Wright and Weaver playing OLB last week???

Not gloom and doom post but not going to get on here and act like there is something positive about losing you all SEC Jack LB when you are going against probably the top offensive head coach in the SEC.
JJ is a leader on defense. We would have a much better chance of winning with him than trying to win without him.
If not, he wouldn't be our #1 Jack.
He’s a good player but our front 4 will decide how well Ole Miss runs on us. We are absolutely loaded up front and remember Ole Miss has played no one.
This is when you have depth or you don’t. If one player out makes our defense sorry then we have a bogus defense. Time for that player who says just give me a chance coach well now he has it.

What they're saying is that the loss of that one player will not determine the outcome and that the team will find a way to win.
The wallowers can wallow, as they did before the Florida game. It's what they do. They'll doom and gloom themselves to the grave, so don't bother trying to talk sense into them, or lead them to be positive or upbeat about UK Football. Your time is better spent than arguing with a vampire about which way to die is toughest.

Yep, Stoops has built a deep team that can withstand injuries with next man up mentality because we have so much talent. This was not the case 5 yrs ago, 10 yrs ago etc.
One of OM DB's is out first half for targeting. The guy we recruited hard at corner looked pretty good for them last week. Anyway, hopefully can take advantage of them missing the targeting dude the first half before he gets back the second half.
