I mentioned that in a previous post. Even the Whitlow/Smith year was better than this year.

What is particularly absurd is that in both of the last two games, we still had a chance to make a 4th quarter comeback, albeit a slim chance, being down by 14 in both games; and, what do we do? Drain the clock as if we were UP by 14. Even if we had managed to score, which, of course we didn't, we would've had virtually no time to complete a comeback given all the wasted clock.

I don't think we can say whether Hamden is bad or not. He may indeed be terrible. But I know we've thought that about other OCs and they went on to have success at other programs. So who really knows. Truth be told it doesn't matter though. The coach that needs to resign is Stoops. He is responsible for putting together an offense and he's proven he can't. He's had one season with a respectable offense. ONE.

He doesn’t build offenses to strike.

Whether we’re up 7 or down 7 it’s same. Ball control, run, eat clock, field position, don’t lose, let’s see if defense can win.

He is just so stuck in his older by gone era philosophies.

Titty slap games that go about 10 -7…no scoring but a few field goals and a safety…we’d be undefeated.

It is over at UK for Stoops & CO. and it will be for me until a change is made. I have never seen an offense so inept in all of my days of watching all levels of FB. I bet there are HS teams that run a more modern offense than what is being ran by Stoops and Hamden. It has become down right embarrassing. I feel like a complete house cleaning is order. If not, what makes anyone think Stoops is going to change his style and put an entertaining and winnable product on the field? The run of bowls ends this year and that sucks for the Seniors and some Juniors..The UT and TX games, those could get ugly if both of them come at UK full throttle.
