I just about yelled at the TV about this. It’s obviously not ideal that we don’t have anyone who can lock down the post one-on-one, but you have to at least try something different when the other team is scoring at will like that. Play a zone, double every post touch, something. This has been a problem with Cal for years that he only knows one way to do things and has no plan B when it doesn’t work, but it’s rarely been as vividly illustrated as it was today.

I was half paying attention in the first half, but I remember us doubling the post some. I think we got burned for some 3’s, so Cal gave it up. I guess he decided giving them an easy 2 was better than giving up the 3.
