They actually can lose every SEC road game until then. 2011 was way better and how many did they win. I'm not expecting but a few road sec wins this year.

If we can't beat a very average team in Alabama AFTER getting embarrassed in the previous game, I will be VERY worried about the rest of the season. The team needs to show some ability to bounce back after a tough loss.
Well here goes I say UK goes on a 12 game win streak, that's right win at Kansas, the only losses left are at a&m and vandy, finish 26-5 for the regular season, they will lose in the sec tourney championship game finish 28-6, earn a 2 seed and beat the no.1 seed Michigan. St. In the regional final, back to a final 4 where anything can happen, why do I think this , you have a leader (ulis), you have a guy who can take over a game (Murray), and guarantee the front line will be night and day by then. Tear me up if you need too, only one way to find out is to go out and play the games, the talent is there, the schedule is very favorable, and I see this team really focused when it comes time to play at kansas
It's all about Skal. If he were the typical Cal 7 footer on both ends, everything about this team would be different. The offense would flow better, Briscoe's shooting would be more if a curiosity than a curse, Murrays turnovers would get cut in half, I'd scare my kids less when we're playing, all of it. Skal's not going to be that guy. At least not this year. So, only riddle left is how much magic can Cal pull out of a hat. Err, you know. We'll see.

They rank 216th in offensive efficiency. I have to imagine that's one of the worst offenses out of power conference teams.
Part of that is cause they are a turnover machine on offense 21.7% (326th) and don't rebound 26.4% (276th).
Jacksonville St ........a team ranked 327th took them to OT. The game was in Bama.
Southern Miss ......a team ranked 323rd they beat by 3 points........one possession.
This is a team that Dayton ranked 40th (21 spots below us) beat by 32 points.
Now they do have some good wins. They did beat Clemson by 1, Notre Dame by 1 and Whicita St by 4 and there defense is 25th in efficiency.
But there's no reason we should stomp them

If our guys play with poise and effort we win by 20+, but if we have a total lack of focus like we did in our three losses we lose by 10+. It's that simple. We have a good roster, it's all about their focus.
Bama ain't as bad at home as you might think. Will be a tough game. One I think we win, but it won't be easy.
Who exactly does bama have that scares you? UK has them overmatched at every position and Bama on the road isn't some crazy venue. IMO, lots of worry for nothing b/c of a bad showing at LSU.
I've seen a little of Bama and they're not that good but they are scrappy. Avery Johnson will have his team pumped up for this game. If we can't match their energy it'll be another long game. If we come out like we did against Ole Miss well take the crowd out of the game early and should be able to run away.
Yes we could. Given Cal's track record I expect a different team to show up tomorrow. The one we've seen glimpses of this year. I hope we see that team more consistently going forward. Yea, 8 losses is still possible, but I'm still hoping for more like 6-7. But you know even 23-8 is nothing to be ashamed of. It's something a lot of programs would celebrate, and rightly so.
Yeah!....what he said. If they lose at Alabama I will probably be as close to throwing in the towel as I have ever been. I'm usually optimistic...but these 3 IDENTICAL losses have me a little less than positive right now. We got talent and ability - staff AND players need to get their heads outta their asses and figure it out! Or else....
Thank you. I try to enjoy every year that I am alive. But, I understand what you are saying. But I haven't seen where they have locked in the 2016-17 Big12/SEC Challenge games. You guys may get Texas Tech next season.

to be fair - it's not that we've lost games, it's the ones we HAVE lost and how we lost them. Add that to the really good wins we do have - it's a crazy head scratching kind of team.
Yeah that's whats kinda crazy about this year. The way we lost these games are alarming but then on the other hand you can this team has impressive wins over Duke and UL. Not only wins but how we won. I mean we were up 16 on UL at one point.
It's a confusing team.........very inconsistent right now
With all of the trash talking you guys do, you better hope that you win that game on your homecourt.

Does Alabama have 4 guys that can stand on either side of the paint and watch UK miss free throws?

Does Alabama have 5 guys that can pass the ball back and forth and wait patiently for a wide open shot when a UK player forgets his defensive assignment?

Does Alabama have 1 guy that can make outside shots?
I'm going to say yes, don't know who but everyone has at least one shooter that goes off against UK so…

You only need a bunch of Joes right now to beat this UK team when you are at home. I have not seen another team at all this season, last season or the season before that that played as differently as UK does home and away.
When LSU comes to Rupp they are going to get housed and it won't even be a doubt in my mind and if this Alabama team came into Rupp or met UK on a neutral court they would lose by thirty but since this game is on an opponents home court we will most likely see a really bad kentucky team that can lose to anybody in CBB.
Exactly. We all knew this team would lose games but none of us were prepared for a third stinker. Our guys go into a total funk when they play on the road for some reason. I wouldn't have a single complaint if they lost but played hard but they didn't play hard or smart.
