Why would we be ranked above ole miss if we are tied with them? They beat us . Is it the tree way tie rule or something ? I don’t gave any idea . Just asking . ThanksIf Florida and LSU win are we the 5?

I’ve been telling everyone this for weeks. Solid 3 seed. Win the SECT and we are a 2. On our path for an elite 8 or better.Just avoid a bad loss in SECT
Seeding committee came out with their top 16 and we were a 3 seed. Our resume has improved. 10 Q1 wins no real bad loss to speak of. Idk which teams have passed us up but I know some have fallenMost years when we think we deserve a 3 we will be a 5 or 6. I’m not buying it until I see it.
That's crazy. This 6 person mock committee who does everything exactly how the NCAA does it (they have spent like 15 hours doing this from Thursday to Today and will do more tomorrow) has us at #9 overall BEFORE today.
Robinson injury will hurt our seeding.Seeding committee came out with their top 16 and we were a 3 seed. Our resume has improved. 10 Q1 wins no real bad loss to speak of. Idk which teams have passed us up but I know some have fallen
100% this. We are never a lock for any seed. They tend to screw us when they can find an excuse. Most years when we think we deserve a 3 we will be a 5 or 6. I’m not buying it until I see it.
Doubtful since we’ve played fine without him.Robinson injury will hurt our seeding.
Not now we proved we can win without him several times this year including at Missouri. Had we lost today I would have agreed with you but winning today made it not matter we are a 3 seed save crapping the bed our first SEC game and others over taking us.Robinson injury will hurt our seeding.
Not if we keep winning without himRobinson injury will hurt our seeding.
We went 4-3 since so I wouldn't say we improved I would say we stayed about sameWe are a 3 seed. We were the second 3 seed on the 15th and improved our resume.
Some of the teams above us have fallen as well.
If we do get a 3 seed, our 2 will be St John’s, you can bet your life on that
Was thinking the same thing. St Johns set to be a #2 and now we look set as a 3.If we do get a 3 seed, our 2 will be St John’s, you can bet your life on that
Them having 0 losses outside quad 1 has really saved their bacon.St johns getting a 2 with their dog crap schedule is comical but I tend to agree with you.
Added three Q1 wins to our resume. Added a Q2 and a Q3 win. Losses to Auburn and Bama were Q1A losses, which improved our SOS. Loss at Texas was the worse loss we had and it was a Q1.We went 4-3 since so I wouldn't say we improved I would say we stayed about same
People really expecting St. John’s to get a 2 with 4 Q1 wins and 19th in NET? Wouldn’t make much sense. Was thinking the same thing. St Johns set to be a #2 and now we look set as a 3.
Yeah, no way they are a 2. Bama, Tennessee, Mich St, Wisconsin, Iowa St all have better resumes.People really expecting St. John’s to get a 2 with 4 Q1 wins and 19th in NET? Wouldn’t make much sense.
Texas Tech is a 2 and their wins aren't much betterPeople really expecting St. John’s to get a 2 with 4 Q1 wins and 19th in NET? Wouldn’t make much sense.
Only thing I’ll say is that in the past there have been statements like, “championships matter.” Still feel like you have to weigh the quality of that championship.Yeah, no way they are a 2. Bama, Tennessee, Mich St, Wisconsin, Iowa St all have better resumes.

UK will have a SEC team as their 1 or 2 seed in their bracket. It’s all but a guarantee given the rules and where the SEC teams currently stand.Even if we outright won the SEC tournament, they wont give us a 2 seed.
They got us at a 3.
Is it still gonna be :
East
1) dUKe
2)St. John's
3) Kentucky
etc. ?
or is that too transparent and they go with :
Midwest
1) Houston
2) Michigan State
3) Kentucky
or some combination, cause with 2 #1 seeds going to the SEC, you wont be putting Kentucky into any of those regions, presumably. And so it looks like dUKe or Houston's region we be a goin' to regardless of who the 2 seed is.
No it won’t. They’re still winning without him.Robinson injury will hurt our seeding.

That makes me feel better. I don't want to lose to that prick (not saying we would).
If we get an SEC team as the 1 seed.....UK will have a SEC team as their 1 or 2 seed in their bracket. It’s all but a guarantee given the rules and where the SEC teams currently stand.
AU and UF get 1 seeds with Duke and Houston
UT and Bama get 2 seeds and go in the Duke/Houston regions.
IF we play Bama on Friday in the SECT we would not be able to be the 3 to their 2 in the NCAAT due to playing each other 3 times. If we somehow met Tennessee the same would apply but that is exponentially less likely.
Chances are we are the 3 seed in Auburn or Florida’s region. But teams are stacked up right behind UK so movement is almost guaranteed.

I still think the committee will move some SEC and BIG teams a seed line up, or down, to avoid as many early same-conference matchups as possible. They changed the rules, because the conferences have so many teams now.
The seeding rules are relaxed if a conference has 9 or more teams in the tourney. So, the SC can do whatever they want because the SEC has so many teams making the tourney.
The Big Ten is in the same boat.
They will try to spread the teams out the best they can, but they do not have their hands tied like they would if there were only 8 teams from the SEC making it.
