Likely will have 1 or 2 bruisers, a defensive specialist or two and the rest will be good/great 3 point shooters. Think Jay Wright’s Villanova teams.

He will have the best offense in the conference hands down. Kids are going to want to play for him at UK. Just wait a second show up and let’s go. The main thing that matters is the money will now be there to buy the players AND Kentucky is a stage unlike any other, AND he has the offense that THEY WANT TO PLAY FOR.

Quit the shit Calipari was torching this program if some of you only understood it better you’d get this.

And we will now not have to see Duke as the program that promotes the brand which has been disgusting. We’ve always been the major player on family and brand. Calipari single handedly HANDED IT TO DUKE.

This is about to work. And for our kids? He’s going to be insanely popular with the kids.

You know you've lost when your best argument is that a dude coaching at BYU couldn't win a tournament game....

When a dude coaching at UK couldn't either.
And we ran him out of town? This is such a bad argument

Look at all the tournament games Hurley won his first 4 years at UCONN and prior to that gig. Pope was doing great just to get BYU to the tourney.
The BYU coach before him got to the Sweet 16 and advanced to the second round twice. Should’ve hired him. He must be the next John Wooden

Yeah look at all the tournament games Pope has won with shooters

Go ahead and stay negative. Wallow in your own misery. I’m sure it will be fun.

You can’t guarantee he’ll fail and I can’t guarantee he’ll succeed.

Why not get on board? I feel like some Uk fans just live to bitch.

When they changed conferences from the MWC to the WCC. Then what happened...

Go on, finish the story.

It's okay. I'll finish it...

Then the team went downhill quick. It was double digit losses from that point for the next 8 years, with only two tournament appearances (none the final five seasons) culminating in a 19-13 season the his final season as coach.

Then Pope took over and did what he did.

Narrative changes when you're not trying to be intentionally disingenuous.

Yes. And if Pope falls to win more than one tournament game in five years, he'll probably be fired, too.

What's your point?
And what state will the program be in if that happens? At this point Pope was a risk Kentucky shouldn’t have taken

As long as the coach runs plays for his shooters look at Cal last year had great shooters but had no ideal how to run a play to get them an open shot
I'm not looking at Cal anymore...

I've seen all of the lazy, half-assed, complacent ball I can handle. Never in my life have I seen a team so praised yet played the game like it was a practice.

It's no wonder they were beaten as often as they were. The only meaningful victory the last month was UT and that was because they came out with intensity and fire. After that, eh, who cares?

And the results showed.

Out worked by Oakland, FFS.
